Ever since that meeting after Memphis game, in 15 games we are 11-4 and Kobe's averages in those games:

21 ppg - 7.13 rpg - 8 apg...shooting 48.5 % from the field (6/35 behind the arc, 54% from 2s) and 88% from FTs.

I wonder how many guys with this much mileage have ever come close? maybe KG last season at center, but still this guy has been remarkable and his tenure has been epic, and personally I look at every year past 2010 as icing on Kobe's career. Whether he goes for 48 against the Suns, or dominates defensively, or out duels one of the young studs in the clutch, you HAVE to appreciate what being a Lakers fan has been since he has arrived.

 

 

This is a season that didn't go off as plan, but when you put Dwight,Nash,Pau,Jamison,Hill,Meeks,Clark and Blake around Kobe, you have done him a proper service, so I think everyone with any rational mind should chalk this season up to injuries and how injuries have effected chemistry and just enjoy this journey.

Some of you guys are ridiculous, how many people in their 17th season do what hes doing right now? Enjoy this run because you probably wont see another player like this again especially in a Laker uniform. SMDH

 

And hes about to pass Wilt Chamberlain in the scoring list whos like on the Mount Rushmore of basketball history
