Fun fact during the lakers @mavericks game which is aired by espn... pretty interesting and also sad which reveals our departed players in only 3 years.. :-(

yea, Ive thought about this before manaro. It really emphasizes how much role players like Brown, Walton, Farmar, etc mean to a chip roster. While most people would call those guys garbage they all contributed to the efforts. And now people dis pau like hes garbage....lol

I would have kept Kobe Bryant, Shannon Brown, Andrew Bynum, Jordan Farmar and DJ Mbenga. The last one was an extremely valuable defensive-minded back-up center, something we don't really have right now.

Arguably the greatest franchise ever

Yeah the one thing Famar and Brown brought was youth, speed and athleticism off the bench. While some of their decision making and shot selection wasnt great they gave us a contrast of pace to our older players. We just don't have that anymore.

And if I remember correctly Farmar didnt really want to stay.

He wanted to be a starter, which he was for half a season until Deron came to town.

Look at where most of them are now. That'll help you realize how good Kobe made these scrubs look while in LA

this is main reason why i keep harping to u in here that our bench is only productive when they get meaningful mins alongside kobe! thats why we are wasting every1 not in 8 man rotation & they had 0 trade value!

This happens all the time in all sports. Change is needed. The bulls in 98 had only 2 players from the 91 roster Jordan and Pippen.

The players I would keep right now would be Kobe, pau, ron, and brown. Maybe lamar.
