Will there be enough run support for Kersh?

Probably not, especially considering how the offense played last night and they're facing Bumgarner...

Magic # is 4.

Now we might need Kemp with Ethier hurting his ankle.

These injuries are becoming a little concerning. Hanley, Ethier, & Kemp. Sad thing is they seem like they won't ever go away completely for the rest of this season.

Wow, listening to Dodgers talk right now. Apparently Mattingly has known about Ethier's ankle issues and Hanley's back injury for 2 weeks now.

Incredible.

The Dodgers honor a fan with Down Syndrome by letting him throw out the first pitch.

The injuries are a little bit concerning because we don't want to be limping into the postseason.  I'm more concerned about Hanley because it's a nerve in his back that is causing the problem with his leg.  Back injuries are always scary to deal with but hopefully the cortisone shot helps him out.

For the record, I'm not worried about the Dodgers struggles in September.  The previous two months, they had to get on a roll to get back into the postseason picture and looked like a team determined.  Now they look like a team that has a 12 game lead in the division. Although, like i've always said, the hottest team at the end of the season usually wins in the post season.  I think this team has enough talent to get hot at anytime though so lets cross our fingers on that.

My hope is that we can get healthy and just keep resting guys.  It will do the team some good and I would even consider skipping Kershaw a start to give him some rest as well.   He hasn't look sharped in his last few starts which I think is due to fatigue (and hopefully nothing more).

Well Dodgers are having a terrible game tonight.  At least I don't need to worry about watching it.

Gotta be the most infuriated I've been at the Dodgers all year. Stupid fielding mistakes, and Ricky with one of the worst starts of his career.

I don't care what the records say, I'm pissed off at this game. It's already a blowout, the bases are loaded, and Puig makes a diving play to get the second out and maybe injures his wrist - Next at bat is a grand slam, effectively negating his effort/risk on injury.

19-3

Wow

And yet they're still last in the division.

I left when they were down 14-3 - Yeah, it's pretty bad, but when your team has a safety cushion of 10 runs in a game, you get all kinds of confidence. Also, managers don't even bother to play their good players/pitchers...That's why these games get out of hand.

If we win by 1-run tomorrow, it'll be worth exactly the same.

I know it's just one game and it's bad enough that it happened to us against any team, but the Giants of all teams? In our home? Really?

Am I wrong or has Brian Wilson not pitched since that one game he lost and looked injured? What's the deal with him?

League once again. Unreal. In just 1 inning, 4 hits and 2 runs. Lovely, just lovely.

He pitched on Thursday in extra innings & picked up the win...

Thanks. Didn't know.

This was very funny - Juan Uribe went a little crazy...he grabbed a woman photographer, pulled her down into the dugout, and started dancing with her - she seemed a little shocked and embarrassed, but still seemed to be laughing and having a good time. Uribe was trying to dance earlier with Brian Wilson, and all the photographers were photographing it, so I think Uribe said to her "Come on and join in."

While Juan Uribe was dancing, there was a 3-woman Mexican band playing on the field and Juan was dancing to their music - that's the band shown at the end of the video. I'm not allowed to include their music in this video, so I had to remove it and insert some similar type of music that I have the rights to use. Their live music was great - I wish I could play it here.
