No run suport for Kershaw so far, what's new? Cubs' run off an error basically.

L.A. Times sports columnist Bill Plaschke says outfielder Yasiel Puig is a blessing and a curse for the Dodgers.

Kershaw hasn't been good tonight, didn't look like himself.  Run support hasn't been there for him either.

Yo WC, does Andrew Campa have any ties to CSUF? I could've sworn I saw him on campus today.

Hmm interesting.  He doesn't have any ties that I know of.  He's been working out of the Burbank/Glendale area so kinda odd to hear of him down at CSUF.

The Dodgers offense never wants to do any work when Kershaw is on the mound, and that is reflected in his 1.72 ERA translating to just a 13-8 record...

They had done better his last three outings but laid an egg tonight.  Just need to get better.  Kershaw didn't pitch well tonight so it's not like he pitched a gem and his offense didn't help.  The whole team was bad tonight.

I thought Mattingly made a stupid decision tonight to take Uribe out after his RBI single.  I understand the whole substitution bc it put the pitchers spot in a certain lineup spot, but he replaced him with Nick Punto, which made our offense suffer even more.

Oh well.  Go win the series tomorrow.

Dodgers are hitting .180 in the 5 games so far in the homestand

Kershaw has an ERA of 3.8 in his 8 losses....so he has to be elite to win games.  His ERA in his 13 wins is 0.9  offense needs to wake up, both Ellises have been quiet, Crawfor and Gonzalez have not played like borderline All stars

12pm game tomorrow. Nolasco goes hope we win

Sure, he threw a lot of pitches and his command was a bit off but he still gave up just 1 ER and struck out 9 in 5 2/3 innings.  Kershaw put this team in position to win like he always does, and the team did nothing in return.

His ERA may be 3.8 in losses, but that means nothing when the team is scoring just 1.5 runs per game in those losses.  He can't do it all himself...

Matt Kemp may return as soon as next week and is looking to instantly be an everyday starter/player.

"I wasn't running hard," Kemp said. "I took a hit away from CC. CC has every reason to be mad at me because that was my fault, and the results of me not running hard to home plate kind of tweaked my ankle a little bit."

^ Tweaked it a little bit means being out what? 2 months or so? Smh.

Nolasco is the man. He's really loving being a Dodger growing up around here as a Mexican-American that being his team as a youngster. Love it. 11 Ks though. Definitely didn't see that coming.

Now we just need Mattingly to stop loving his fellow Italian Capuano so much & replace him with Fife.

Puig pulled from the game in the 5th inning by Mattingly for disciplinary reasons:

More inside that link. Doesn't look too good though.

Capuano out of the rotation?

RT @Ken_Rosenthal: Source: #Dodgers agree with Volquez on major-league deal, pending physical, other details. #Padres pay all but pro-rated min of his $5.725M.
