Crawford has really gone over everyone's expectations, thought he' might be off to a slow start

It's still early BUT he looks like the Crawford from Tampa Bay. That's what I'm most excited about.

Greinke tonight, Kershaw next game. Hopefully the offense gives them some run support

^ With ZG's extensive pitching arsenal and quality in almost every one, he is fun to watch.

He does, but even better.

[expletive] the Padres. Fractured collar bone for Greinke, luckily non throwing shoulder.

Such a [expletive] move by SD. No need to start a brawl from that.

3-2 count in a 2-1 ball game and you charge the mound? Screw that. Know baseball Quentin. If Greinke wanted to send a message, he would have hit you in the head.

I'm probably as heated as Kemp right now lol

Bully move by CQ. Not sure what zack was thinking going body to body with a guy that big. <br />At least he'll be fresh for the 2nd half of the season. Kemp is too emo. He needs anger management.

RT @dylanohernandez: As Quentin walked into the parking lot, Kemp told him, "We'll see, [expletive]."

Kemp is passionate about his team, can't say anything about that.

Passion is one thing but Kemp gets carried away. He should let his bat do the talking. He's too good a player to act like he does sometimes. I seen Kemp jawing at Bud Black? What for? If he challenged CQ after the game that's dumb too.

I can't fault Kemp in this situation. He is the leader of the team and was heated. Did he get carried away? Not sure you can say that bc he didn't do anything that was over the line. He was jawing at the dugout and just kept going, not a big deal IMO. I'd expect someone like Trout or Pujols to do the same thing in this situation.

What Quentin did tonight was bull[expletive]. Even his teammates are apologizing for it. I'd rather have Kemp be vocal about it than just say nothing. And I'm sure Quentin after the game wasn't polite towards Kemp. Quentin was unapologetic after the game so I'm sure he didn't say anything nice to Kemp when they crossed each others paths post game.

Emotions are part of the game. Especially baseball. I've been part of a brawl before, everything goes out the window when you're defending a teammate, who got hit in the head and charged the mound leading to the benches clearing in my particular situation. In hindsight it's stupid but when you're defending a friend, you do what you need to do.

No way was Greinke trying to hit Quentin. Nobody intentionally plinks a batter on a 3-2 count in a one-run game. The sickening part part of it all is that Greinke shouldn't have even been ejected--that was all Quentin's initiation. And now Greinke has to suffer because of Quentin's temper-tantrum.

I don't even think Greinke was ejected. He left because of the injury.

Espn said he was ejected, along with Kemp and Hairston.

Looking back at the incident a few minutes ago, he was replaced by Capuano as an injured player. Cap got as much time as he needed on the mound to warm up which signals Greinke was not ejected.

No one really knew during the game so it's a simple mistake by ESPN. Only three ejected were Kemp, Hariston and Quentin.
