I thought Wainwright was supposed to be out for the season?

Seems like Puig always strikes out on bad balls low & away. They're not even close. When is he gonna' learn to lay off of those? More & more pitchers are starting to see this.

I think you mean Chris Carpenter, he hasn't pitched this season at all...

Damn, I forgot all about Beckett.  Is Yadier Molina expected to play any time this series? When is Hanley coming back? No word?

What a scoop by Gonzo. Makes it look easy. What a pro defenseman.

Greinke with his 100th win and the road streak continues to 15.

Smart move by Mattingly sitting out KJ for this one. Need to rest him since we'll probably need him the rest of this series. Fortunate Paco finished the job though and made his move look good.

Great win. Paco with the 6 out save

When is Dominguez getting back?? Im excited about our 3 rookies in the pen (Withrow, Dominguez, Paco).

Offense struggled a bit today and Greinke now has the highest OBP of any pitcher in history for a single season so crazy

Kershaw tomorrow vs Riverside's Joe Kelly . Please score some runs, hope Hanley is back.

I don't expect Dominguez back this season.  If Brian Wilson performs, he'll be the guy brought up.  I personally want to see the Wilson, Withrow, Rodriguez, and Jansen bullpen.  That is lights out if they are on the top of their games.

damn that would suck if they dont bring Dominguez in, hes another power arm in there. I have no idea what Wilson is gonna bring but either way 2 guys are competing for 1 spot...same way with Capuano and Fife. Its a good problem to have.

I agree.  I think if Wilson shows close to his old form, they'll take the experience.   I like Dominguez's potential but he still worries me because a power fastball in the majors isn't as effective unless you can use your other pitches effectively.  But it's good to have options.

Withrow has been my favorite guy since he was brought up. Kid is going to be a beast out of the bullpen for years to come.

Was Greinke interviewed anywhere? This was his 100th win. Pretty big deal.

Brian Wilson to begin pitching in minors for Dodgers on Wednesday

Brian Wilson to play in Rancho Cucamonga

Mattingly says he thinks shortstop Hanley Ramirez will be out at least a few days with a right shoulder injury.

Mattingly said the Dodgers would be fine if Ramirez had to go on the 15-day disabled list.

We've got the best road record in all of baseball now overall.

This is a quote from a Cardinals fan taken from yesterday's Dodgers and Cubs recap...

My Cardinals have scored 44 runs in their last 4 games. The Dodgers are in for a rude awakening! Your not in Wrigley anymore! LOL".

Man, [expletive] Time Warner...Today is the first game exclusively on KCAL, so those with TWC can't watch. I'm pretty tired of Time Warner, and their whole shtick of of trying to make CBS/KCAL look like the enemy, rather than them being cheap asses.

Not sure what's w/ the Dodgers having a non-existent offense whenever Kershaw pitches, but it needs to change. He should be a 20 game winner EASILY.
