He's wasting ABs by having Uribe play to begin with...

Uribe is worthless and will have failed himself out of the lineup by May...

What is Paco Rodriguez role this year? Guy has filthy stuff. I picked him up in fantasy baseball any chance he closes this year?

He'll be situational against lefties and at most a one inning guy.  He's still young, doesn't have much experience under his belt but I think he's a future closer in the next couple of years, this year I wouldn't count on it with League at the end.

Mattingly with his first bad decision of the year and it comes in the first inning.  Two on, one out with Gonzalez up.  Cain struggling in the first and you have Crawford attempt to steal third?  He gets thrown out, two outs, Gonzalez walks on next pitch, then Ethier strikes out, end of inning.

If you're going to make a decision, why not hit and run with Gonzalez if you want Crawford to run?

Completely took the momentum out of whatever we had going that inning.

Okay rant over lol.

Nah, I wish. I was thinking about getting some last minute tickets but this morning the top deck was still selling for $90 bucks and while I could have waited an hour before the game to see how much the tickets went down, I would have ended up stuck on the freeway and probably wouldn't have got in until the 5th inning at the earliest.

Great way to start the season. Don't know what else you can say about Kershaw, what a masterful performance and then helps himself out by going yard.

161 left!

Damn that was crazy, we had nothing going for 7 innings and BOOOM leads off with a Home Run.  Our guys went 0 for 9 in RISP today thats a little bit concerning other than that we're good.  Cruz was fantastic playing Defense at 3rd, he got Posey out on that line drive in the 7th if that had gone though we would be looking at a different game

I hope when Hanley comes back they keep Cruz at 3rd, his Defense is too good

Crazy stat...1981 was the last time a Dodger pitcher had a shutout on opening day..it was Fernando and we won the World series that year. Hope it happens again
