^ Lmao. Unreal. You can't make this stuff up.

Kemp is back.  Check out the lineup:

M Ellis 2B
Puig LF
Gonzalez 1B
Ramirez SS
Kemp CF
Ethier RF
Federowicz C
Punto 3B
Fife P

Is it impossible to teach Carl Crawford or any of our better hitters to play third base? I'm just trying to imagine if there's any way possible of having Crawford, Puig, Gonzalez, Ramirez, Kemp, & Ethier all in there at once.

So anyone want to tell me why Mattingly reverted back to League tonight? What the hell.

Wondering the exact same thing. Jansen needs a break but why not put in paco or moylan to start the ninth and try to close it out? Mattingly has god awful instincts.

Just unbelievable.

It's not that hard of a decision to make by a manager.  The guy lost the closing job for a reason.... he can't CLOSE.

So West Coast, you ignored my question. Is it impossible?

Crawford cannot play third base, he's a lefty, as is Ethier.

Third base is extremely difficult to learn.   The best bet is to trade Ethier for a third baseman.

Teaching players a new position at the major league level is as close to impossible as it will get.  Players usually learn new positions in the minor leagues.

^ Not sure about "only". 7 still is quite a lot, but yes, certainly not impossible. Just gotta' cliche take it one game at a time.

No Kemp again already? Why?

Puig with 2 hits already in 3 abs although on that last one he totally miscalculated his run getting thrown out at second when he should've just stayed at first. That's great that it at least still counts as a hit for him though.

This has got to be one of the first games all season with no position players hitting below the Mendoza line

How sweet it is! It's about damn time. Puig bounces back huge!

When is Crawford expected to be back and why did Kemp sit out again so quickly?

Crawford might start his rehab assignment next week and Kemp had a scheduled day off, they want to ease him back in.

SWEEEEEEEEEP that felt good

I'm only concerned about moving Puig from RF to LF...yesterday I thought he was thinking too much on the field and it carried over to his at bats. Today he looked rock solid with the bat, when he was penciled in RF...you gotta keep the continuity going hes by far your best player, if anything Ethier is the one who has to adjust since hes batting down the order not the other way around. I hope they keep Puig at RF

The Dodger season so far eerily similar to the Laker season. Hopefully it doesnt have the same ending
