What's sad is that this is happening all the way down at the little league level because kids see the major leaguers do this.

Kids should watch guys like Trout and Puig.  They play baseball with maximum effort.

I'm glad you agree with me. It's so disappointingly obvious. You can probably add Bryce Harper to the players you mentioned, but it's like these guys get a sense of entitlement and think they're above that. It's not like these guys are busting their ass all game like basketball players anyway. Is it so much to ask that every now and a long then when your turn comes up after having rested for so long to just run all out for a few seconds? Most of these guys are making millions in fact. That's even more gross and they can't simply run hard? I really wish managers could enforce this, if not for the whole game (which is how it SHOULD be), but at least the second half of the game or if it's a close game late.

Shocking that with this hug payroll a minor league guy who's making peanuts compared to these guys is saving the day.

Beyond sad. The other guys should be embarrassed. Where's the pride? Where's the passion?

Scully should seriously just come out and say [expletive] you guys. He deserves better in possibly his last season commentating.

He really does.

Same as last year...Can't do anything with RISP.

Tupac was right. Some things never change.

Like my friend put it on Twitter, sounds like the last words of a coach who is going to take the fall for his players.  That's what a player coach does.

We don't need a player coach.  We need a coach that's going to call out his players after a pathetic showing like this.

No, League failed in the 9th. Same [expletive] all year.

League isn't the only BP arm that has failed the Dodgers this year.

He sucks, sure.  But he's not alone in his suckery...

At least puig is still going strong. Maybe when they get a few guys back they can get a streak going. Shocking that with this hug payroll a minor league guy who's making peanuts compared to these guys is saving the day.

Doesn't matter if the Dodgers mount any kind of decent play streak.  They are done...

3 losses in a row...

takes all momentum out...

could be only 3 games under... 30-33...

now... 27-36... a million games under 500...

thankfully the d-backs are not too good, and no one will run away with the division...

If the lakers can find a couple players who can hit over .200, and Kemp and Either come back swinging, and a couple relief pitchers are added...

we have a CHANCE

@kengurnick 1m
Chris Withrow and Alex Castellanos called up, Scott Van Slyke disabled and Justin Sellers optioned.

Dammit WTF!!! This team just cannot catch a break with injuries.  :smh:

Excited to see Withrow called up though.  Gives us another quality arm.  About 6'4 and was 4-0 at AAA this season.  One of the top 10 prospects in our system.
