I cant believe how bad he is. Guy had a 2 run lead and just blew it. I was looking at the a dodger forum and they all called it that he would blow the lead and game.

Damn it! Why couldn't Puig leadoff today? Why not give our best and hottest hitter by far guaranteed the most at-bats?

yo.

You could argue though that having him hit with no one on is a waste as well.

Yeah, I know.

Ahhh wtf? You guys see that? Gonzo started off running even slower than usual assuming they were gonna' pick that ball up without problem and it COST HIM AND THE TEAM!!! If he did not assume, he might've actually made it as slow as he is! DAMN IT!!!

AND WE LEFT PUIG ON DECK AT THE END OF A GAME YET AGAIN!!!

yo.

Pathetic.

I've seen little leaguers take better at bats than what I just saw once we had runners on first and third w/ no outs.

Honestly, this is just one of too many examples I've seen with baseball that piss me off about players not running hard to first & giving it their all every time. No excuse for it. I don't know why they get a pass so often. Especially in a late game close situation, even less of an excuse. You've gotta' give it you're all and never assume. Plus you put at least some pressure on the fielders this way as well. Make them not take their time either and in some cases they feel pressured and mess up. It pisses me off. I guess in baseball you're not told to play hard and give it 100% all the time apparently.

What's sad is that this is happening all the way down at the little league level because kids see the major leaguers do this.

Kids should watch guys like Trout and Puig.  They play baseball with maximum effort.

At least puig is still going strong. Maybe when they get a few guys back they can get a streak going. Shocking that with this hug payroll a minor league guy who's making peanuts compared to these guys is saving the day.

Unacceptable loss. Players, managers, everyone. This team is going nowhere. Scully should seriously just come out and say [expletive] you guys. He deserves better in possibly his last season commentating.
