He said he can play through it as long as he doesn't dive. A-Gon has been excellent with RISP we could use him as late inning PH. Time for Ethier to be platooned and Ramon Hernandez might get cut since Fed is up

Gonzo has been great for us. It's a shame that guys like Kemp and Ethier are not leading this team right now.  Kemp's average is rising which is good but his power numbers are definitely a concern.

And I hope we cut Ramon Hernandez, that was a unnecessary player to trade for.  Fed was ready from what I saw.

I really hope the Dodgers look to give Joc Pederson (AA) a shot.  He's a left outfielder who has some pop.  He's been our best minor leaguer the last couple of years.  But I'm not sure if he'll see the Dodgers because of Puig.

Pederson will get a chance before Puig does...

Yeah cause you plan on half of your rotation being injured.
Harang asked to be traded cause he didn't want to come out of the pen, that was the only guy they got rid of.

162 games

Show me the last time a team used only 5 or 6 starting pitchers the entire year?
The dodgers started with 2 or 3 starting pitchers on the dl to start the season!
Trading their starting pitching depth was a mistake, I said it day one!

Just because player wants something, doesnt mean they should get it...

Hope so.

Looks like putting Puig in the minors was the best decision made for him.  Still very young, having some struggles, having trouble with his immaturity as well.

Dodgers go down again. That's 8 in a row. 3rd worst record in baseball. Only percentage points better than the Angels slightly.

It's been a rough year for me and my teams. USC, Lakers, and now Dodgers.

Just want to cry in a corner at this point lol

^ and what do all three of those teams have in common? Can't live up to expectations (nor even close for that matter) and questionable coaching to say the least.

Lotta' fans calling for Ethier to sit down and see what Puig can do hoping for maybe a Mike Trout-like experience.

At what point do you say enough is enough (ala Samuel L) basically and we've got nothing to lose though?

Too much of a risk IMO bringing Puig up before he's ready. If he were to struggle up here, that could derail his career. Seen it too many times over the years.

Throwing his bat, arguing with umpires, etc. All stuff that can be fixed obviously but he hasn't shown improvement yet in that area.

I wish Mattingly would have let Ryu pitch the CG.

Ethier possibly hurt.
