Dodgers can fill the bench for cheap. Not worried about that, will miss Punto though. Always played hard.

As for Kemp/Mariners news, any trade will need to start with Seager (3B) and Walker (SP) for the dodgers to consider that.

As much as I love Kemp, I wouldn't totally hate that deal...

Kemp is one of my favorite players but unlike 2 years ago, the guy isn't untouchable anymore.  In any deal, the Dodgers would eat some salary but the offer has to blow us away.

25 year old third baseman, who has some pop (hit 20 homeruns the last couple of seasons).  Needs to raise his average and cut down his strikeouts but is a quality third baseman.  His younger brother, Corey, is one of the top prospects in the Dodgers organization.

As much as I hate to admit it, I have to agree with you. Matt Kemp is very mortal right now, but I still don't see him being traded. Teams don't want to give up that much for a contract like his, we're better off keeping him anyway. Unless Seattle and Kansas City wants to stay mediocre and trade us all their prospects.

I think Ethier is the most likely to be traded. I always wanted to see what he could do as a Yankee with that short porch left field.

I just don't understand this Puig for Carlos Stanton trade idea? Stanton does nothing better than Puig besides power. Idgi

The thinking behind it is that Puig sells tickets, but Stanton would win a world series.

Personally, I think it's stupid.  Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of Stanton but he hasn't been able to stay healthy either and we don't need another injury riddled outfielder.  Puig has the total package and is a young player that needs to learn how to play the game.

Don't see the Dodgers trading Puig, wouldn't go over with the fans very well.

I just don't understand the whole World Series thing lol. I think Stanton is no where near the level of Puig. Sure he has Chris Davis type of power, but that's ceiling even if he's healthy. I just don't see it. I would take Puig over Stanton 10 times out of 10.

Yankees Will Not Sign Brian Wilson Because He Won’t Shave Beard

Brian Wilson's agent told Brian Cashman that Wilson won't shave his beard. "Cross him off the list," Cashman said.

There is no way the Mariners would send back Seager for a broken down, expensive Kemp...

Seager is far from untouchable.  If Dodgers eat a lot of Kemp's salary, which they most likely would, Mariners would trade Seager, especially with the prospects they have in the minors right now that can fill that position.

@dylanohernandez: Sounds like Brian Wilson would be open to returning to the #Dodgers in a non-closing role if they pay him like a closer.

Now this is interesting.  If I'm the Dodgers, I go for it.

2 years 16 mill, 20 mill max. I'm tired of watching dodgers get screwed over in reliever deals though.

Nice. I do as well, just kinda agree with Icker & hope he doesn't suddenly start sucking once he has that contract and or gets injured again.

I didn't say he was untouchable, I said he's not getting traded for Kemp...

Ken Rosenthal @Ken_Rosenthal 2m

Sources: Haren to #Dodgers, one year, $10M plus 2015 option that vests at 180 innings. Pending physical.

Was just going to post that lol.

Very good pick up for the back of the rotation. I think they are going to go out and get another big money pitcher (by free agency or trade, not sure yet) but they are going to stack our rotation.

Haren will be the #5 starter.
