Kershaw went 4 innings and had 7 earned runs

While having 1 earned run in his previous 5 starts

It's not over. But the dodgers have 9 at bats for 9 runs

No, it is over. I bet the douche bag Giant and Diamondback fans are having a ball over this.

Can't even go to the Dodgers thread on Lakersground - that place is infested with annoying Cardinals fans.

Love how the announcers compare Hanley's batting averages from the last series and this series and then wait to say oh yeah, well he got plunked in the ribs we should mention. Of course I don't know if it was intentional or not and we never will. If they did plunk him purposely and do go on to win the title hopefully they'll feel like there should be an asterisk on it. What I do know is this Dodger team will be back- and is here to stay. That's the only positive takeaway from yet another NLCS defeat. But at least there is one positive rather than none after our losses to the phillies

^We should have crushed Beltran in the ribs with a fastball. If we had some balls, we would have.

Hopefully, we can keep Wilson. Other teams are gonna offer him a lot, now that they saw how dominant he's been for us.

Kershaw got hammered tonight. Didn't choke or fold, he just got rocked by the Cardinals hitters.

Tip your hat to the Cardinals and move on. It was a great season and we aren't going away anytime soon.  Health was this team's downfall.  Despite the health issues, we had chances and just need to get better in big situations.

Off-season priority list:

1) Sign another SP - Cannot go into the playoffs with our manager skipping starters.  Move Ryu to the fourth spot and sign another top tier pitcher that can slide behind Greinke.  Bring up Zach Lee for the 5th spot in spring training.

2) New second baseman.  Mark Ellis is a quality veteran, but he's a bench player at this point in his career.  Sign the Cuban player Guerrero or trade for Brandon Phillips, who will be shopped this winter.

3) Re-Sign Uribe.  No other quality 3B on the market, resign Uribe for two years, keep chemistry in the clubhouse.

4) Get healthy.  Kemp is the biggest concern, but he'll have time off to get ready for spring training.

We aren't far away.  Just need to solidify our offense with one more quality bat and solidify our rotation with another big time pitcher. 5 months till spring training, it will come by quick.

No way dodgers are winning this thing. Of all people to fail the dodgers wouldn't have thought kershaw.

The Dodgers? Almost everyone. Hardly anyone expected something like this from Kershaw. I hope Koufax wasn't watching.

Hard to imagine that we would end up losing 2 pivotal games this series to a freaking rookie named Wacha.

Humbling.

I didn't watch the entire game...Hearing from some people that Ellis cost us the game. Did he make a defensive mistake?

If he accounted for the 9 runs then yes.

It's not over. But the dodgers have 9 at bats for 9 runs

Can't even go to the Dodgers thread on Lakersground - that place is infested with annoying Cardinals fans.

Really? So there's a ton of Laker fans in St. Louis or are they just a ton of flat out troll visitors?

Wish the rain came sooner.

If it were anyone other than Hanley, I'd give them a little more the benefit of the doubt, but considering out of all people they just happened to get our best hitter in the regular season and playoffs, you have to at least question it.

We should have crushed Beltran in the ribs with a fastball. If we had some balls, we would have.

Maybe.

Dodgers definitely pulling a Lakers today (not in a good way) - Seems like if the Lakers are going to get eliminated from the playoffs, they're going to get blown out by at least 30 points (Spurs, Celtics, Mavericks).

That's another option.  Not sure how much we'll give up for him though.  One top prospect for sure.

Getting Trout. Dodgers will actually pay him what he deserves.

Unless you talk about that diva [expletive] Dwight Coward, it's not classic L.A. fashion to smile and laugh after a demoralizing loss. Never saw that from Magic, Phil, Kobe, Shaq, Worthy, Kareem, Wilt, etc.

^ Lol, I was referring to this:

The Don part was intended to be completely separate. My bad for not doing a better job of making that more clear.

I really hope Kemp is healthy next year. And we definitely need another SP and a second baseman.

Dodgers have nothing to be ashamed of. Lost to a better team and still hung tough despite all the injuries. I'm thankful that I even got to see Dodger playoff baseball after that horrendous start
