Ya I know. It's not over yet though. We obviously need solid games from Kershaw and Greinke as well as having our offense show up both games to get to game 7. Then we need another gem from Ryu in game 7 and our offense needs to show up. It's gonna be tough as hell but I'd rather have A chance than NO chance at all.

I honestly think these guys need to get back to the basics. They need to learn to hit sac fly's, and avoid high pitches that would result in ground-balls. Need to get Puig, Crawford and maybe others to use their speed to start stealing bases, so we can start to minimize double plays. Besides trying to steal second, I'm not sure what else you do to avoid the DP, but they need to figure it out.

Our batting average during the season was 4th or 5th, and our in runs we were ranked 16th - Maybe the playoffs were just a reflection of that, maybe not...We'll have to see what happens.

I will be absolutely sickened if Greinke pitches another gem and the offense still stinks up the place tomorrow.

I want to see a 13 run outburts like in the Atlanta series...

This is also part of the reason why I didn't want to go Nolasco - Now, you have the chance of not even getting to use a rested Kershaw, and Ryu. Cardinals know they don't want to get to Kershaw, so they're going to go all out to win today.

Wow, did not expect an offensive explosion like that even with a crappy pitcher from St. Louis the way we've been swinging lately, but I'm more than pleasantly surprised. Can't even remember the last time we hit that many home runs in a game it feels like so long.

Tough to see Jansen suddenly struggle like that though. Never good, especially from your closer, but friggin' Brian Wilson was lights out yet again. Simply incredible. He's nearly been perfect in his whole time here except for one little inning & game. Tremendous.

A-Gon put the team on his back today, major props & of course a great outing by ZG yet again, but thank God he was able to get the run support to go with it.

First game we get outhit I believe and we win.

Glad they're putting up a fight - Game 6 against Wacha will be extremely tough. He's only given up one run in his last two games.

But if we do go to a G7, I think you have to go out firing. Put all of your starting pitchers in the bullpen. Kershaw pitches the day before, but I bet even he would want to give an inning.

^ Completely agree. You consider & take all risks. It's game 7 for cryin' out loud, but now let's just see if we can get there first.

Nice pics! How did Hanley look? I heard they took him out in the 6th but nothing more than that. Tomorrow is a big day for him to get as healthy as possible going into Friday and Saturday

he was throwing well, he just couldn't swing the bat well and he couldn't reach the strikes on the outside corners. Hopefully a couple of days of rest does him good

Alright. Yeah that's exactly why I wanted him to sit out today's game so then he gets two days of rest heading into games 6 and 7 when we obviously need him the most. I felt confident we were going to win today with or without him but that's a tough call whether or not to play him I understand that. Lets just hope the day off tomorrow and heavy doses of that pain medication works wonders.

I wanted 13 runs, but I'll take the 6 they put up.  They can score 7 for Kershaw tomorrow...

Kershaw should win but Ethier and puig played suspect defense, and you just never know, with the injuries and the pressure
