Just checking in...Been posting on some other forums. So, are we all wanting Pittsburgh? I actually was thinking STL, given how bad they've been looking before today's game - Not quite sure. Either way, I'm hoping our aces can abuse either one of them, given that they're burning their best pitchers on Wednesday.

The Cards have championship experience plus homefield advantage.  Most definitely wanting Pittsburgh, but wouldn't care if it was St. Louis as to be the best you have to beat the best...

Also, was sick as hell of these homer Braves announcers, and the camera cutting to Freddy Gonzalez every 5 seconds.

So crazy, I'm actually exhausted and so tired, but I can't go to sleep because my mind is racing. Even before the run scored for the Braves, I thought the game was over when Don decided to use Blowisario. Brian Wilson wasn't being used that much - He could/can go two innings easily. DM needs to learn from his mistakes - Beli has been blowing games for us routinely, no reason to use him.

- Pittsburgh has speed + power. Dangerous combo

- St.Louis has experience but they're old, weary and have been in a funk over the last month

Im torn because if we play the Pirates we get home field advantage, if we play the Cardinals they're obviously the easier of the 2 matchups. Not to mention last time we faced them we beat them

Cardinals closer and bullpen is struggling and they have no Allen Craig.

Im still on the fence as to who I want

That girls ass in the background - Holy...

Pretty cool video, also because it had the reaction of the dugout after the Uribe home run. Tired of seeing replays, and having to see the Braves dugouts reaction. Who gives a [expletive].

Brian Wilson actually sounds a lot like Chael Sonnen.

Pirates are young and inexperienced. Rotation is not very good either. Offense has it's sparks but still not impressed with them.

Cardinals could get Allen Craig back for the second round, starting rotation is solid and they have some nice bullpen pieces. But they struggle with left handed pitchers. Cardinals have the experience so that's why they are dangerous.

Give me the Pirates because of home field advantage.

I'll take either, but I prefer the Pirates. The only team in the NL that scared me was the Reds, very happy they didn't back. I don't see any other teams as legitimate threats to us winning the pennant.

Don't care who we get.

I hate Pittsburgh, beating them would be sweet.

Have no strong feelings towards the Cards.

I'm confident no matter who LA plays, really. But if STL gets Allen Craig back for next round I'd rather have Pittsburgh.

I missed an article last week that said Craig could be done for the post season. That's pretty significant.

Dodgers beat them in 2009 NLDS

Pirates have some momentum on their side. Cardinals look like they're just weary and worn out. Cards have no speed or power, good situational hitters but no explosive power lineup, no Allen Craig. back end of the bullpen shaky. Defense is so so. But you lose home field when you play them...but then again we won 3 out of 4 in STL without Hanley or Kemp

Not to mention all the cards starters are right handers. Dodgers are 26-27 this year in games started by left handed pitchers and 0-1 in post season (Mike Minor was a lefty)

Liriano is a stud again with the Pirates these days

Cardinals have good pitchers, we have great pitchers

Cardinals have a good bullpen, we have a great bullpen

Cardinals have a good offense, we have a good offense

Cardinals have no speed or power. They have a bunch of station to station guys

I hope we win in 5 or 6. I like this matchups.  All their starters are righties so Ethier and Crawford dont have to worry Lol
