Dodgers did what they needed to do. Got one in ATL.

This ends in LA.

That was a winnable game and we gave it away

- Reed Johnson doesn't have a hit since JULY 28 and Mattingly walked him to get to Jason Heyward. Goodness

- Dee was safe ump blew it ugh

All those double plays when we had runners on base. We had so many opportunities. Oh well on to game 3. Take care of business please

What did you think about the officiating or umping in this game WC?

I find the announcers very annoying

Whether he admits it or not, it's obvious Ernie has to be going for Atlanta. He's basically worked & lived there for most of his life.

It is what it is. Dodgers can't blame the umps for the multiple scoring opps they failed with.

That's why I still believe Buster Olney that Mattingly will be gone if the Dodgers somehow don't make it past this first round, but of course, it's early, just one game, and I still have a ton of faith despite Mattingly.

Damn straight. This was a tough loss and not the best game for anyone not named Haney Ramirez. But we fought and almost had it. I can live with that. Horrible call by the Ump on Dee's steal but what are you gonna do? That's the way it goes sometimes. I'm going on Sunday Dodger Stadium will be more than rocking. I'm going to try and start our own chop chant

Instant replay, easy. Get it [expletive]IN' RIGHT!!!

That's the way it goes sometimes.

No. Enough with the old-fashioned backwards way of thinking BS! Let's improve the game by getting it right. The technology's been at our availability for a long time now and baseball still hasn't caught up as much as some other leagues. Enough is enough!!!

Human error is part of the game, just the way it is. Sometimes we get calls and sometimes the other team gets the call. Just part of the game.

I'm still irate at Mattingly for walking effing Reed Johnson. I hope we get the guy took his spot as the Yankees manager next year.

Magic Johnson: Dodgers will Not Pursue Robinson Cano in Free Agency

We don't have to accept that though. We have a choice. We can improve the fairness of the game this way. C'mon man. [expletive] tradition to a certain extent if it means costing team's games and or influencing & impacting momentum.

I accept it, I think it's great that they added review to certain aspects of the game and things of that sort. I just don't think it should be fully automated by robots, i feel like it would take alot of the magic from the game.

I also hate the DH and think it should be banned lol

Robots pertain more to the whole strike zone issue, but a call & play such as Dee Gordon's would only need instant replay. You wouldn't be for that? Honestly? At least?

I say either ban it or give it to both leagues, but to have it for one and not the other is BS.

Yep definitely would have liked instant replay on that one

I'll be at game 3 tomorrow. I expect Chavez Ravine to be absolutely rockin' tomorrow.

Two young pitchers going at it, Ryu (26) and Teheran (22). Ryu has the advantage because he is at home and has pitched in big games before in the WBC and Olympics.

Dodgers need to jump on Teheran in the first four innings. If we let him get to the 5th or later, he'll develop confidence. Rattle the youngster and score lots of runs.

Do you guys think Dee was safe? I've seen images and gifs where he looked out by a mile and a few angles where he looked safe for sure. So inconclusive. In real time I thought Dee was out

^ In real time I kinda thought he was out as well, but like you said, after seeing several replays, on some it looked like he might've been out, but on more to me it looked like he was safe. Bottomline is though they should have instant [expletive]ing replay on that at least. WTF!

He definitely didn't do himself any favors in Game 2...
