Again another misleading title.

Cuban said its something they "may" consider with the tax but that if he were in the same situation he wouldn't do it, and wouldn't do it to Dirk either because of the years invested and the hit the team would take.

He didn't suggest they amnesty Kobe he said that it is something they'd have to consider tax-wise but he wouldn't even do it if he had the option so they won't either.

Its easy to tell who really reads articles.

There is nothing misleading about the title.

Majesty, you quote the "may" part and then conveniently leave out this part:
"you’ve got to ask the question: Should they amnesty Kobe"

By posing the question, the speaker (Cuban) is suggesting they (the Lakers) should think about it. The above quote clearly supports the OP's title:
Cuban Suggests Lakers Consider Using Amnesty On Kobe

You are accusing the Op of the very thing you just did- stating only part of the facts from which to draw the conclusion you wish to reach, rather than the conclusion actually supported by the facts.

I will give you that there are a fair number of inaccurate/ sensationalist titles on this board. This is an accurate one in my view.

When it comes to money it might make a little sense maybe.....Then again the Lakers aint worried about money when it comes to having to choose between profit or a ring. That's what has set them apart from other organizations as we saw cuban torpedo a championship team the very next year following. LMAOOOO dudes a basketball idiot. Poor dirk

The only scenario in which this could happen would if Dwight threatened not to resign. Even then, the Lakers might let Dwight walk.

Cuban set himself up to make a run at Dwight Howard, not to save cash.

The Lakers will not file a complaint against Mark Cuban, though the NBA is looking into the matter and can fine him for his Kobe comments.

Larry Coon@LarryCoon
Cuban wants Lakers to amnesty Kobe. For that matter, he wants Miami to amnesty LeBron, OKC to amnesty Durant, and the NBA to amnesty Stern.

i would approve the stern move

Cuban is one of those businessmen that insert ideas through suggestion. I guarantee if this ever happened, he would be the first to bid for Kobe.

Mark Cuban suggested that the Los Angeles Lakers may have to consider using their amnesty provision on Kobe Bryant this offseason.
Bryant is owed $30.4 million for the 13-14 season, but continues to play at a high All-Star level.
"If you look at their payroll, even if Dwight (Howard) comes back, you’ve got to ask the question: Should they amnesty Kobe?"
Cuban said he wouldn't consider doing a similar move on Dirk Nowitzki. The Dallas Mavericks have made several cost-saving moves in recent offseasons, such as their decision not to re-sign Tyson Chandler.
"It’s the same reason I wouldn’t get rid of Dirk (Nowitzki). I’ll take a hit for a season rather than get rid of Dirk. That’s just it. I’ve made that commitment to him over the years and he’s returned that commitment. Maybe that’s selfish, but that’s just the way it is."
The Lakers will have the highest luxury tax bill in the NBA for the 12-13 NBA season.
If the Lakers use their amnesty provision, it will more likely be on Metta World Peace and his $7.7 million salary

I he really saying this. I dont think so. He's saying that in the same way that he won't amnesty Dirk, the Lakers won't amnesty Kobe, despite the fact that they'll pay a lot of CBA tax money.

Exactly. Media needs something to hype heading into Sunday's nationally televised game.
