Love that Kobe encouraged ALL current Lakers player to step up ALL THE SEASON NOW for Jerry Buss!

Hope that by now even a stupid guy like Ebanks knows in WHICH SHIP he is riding!

I had the privilege of meeting Dr. Jerry Buss!

Movie theatre in Los Angeles! premier of Michael Jacksons "This is it", he had two girls with him one on each arm!

My cousin and I quickly spotted him and nobody else did, and quickly opened the doors for him to walk in!

He had the biggest smile on his face, and I remember telling him that we appreciate what you do for the Lakers and he smiled back and said thank you!

First and only Laker I've ever met so far and damn proud of it!

Jerry West, Phil, Shaquille and Ervin were great. West and Jackson blew the others away. Shaquille made me laugh and Ervin is just a great speaker.

What a fitting tribute to an amazing man. So often, coaching trees are talked about in this league; amazing to see how many successful and amazing people have all directly benefited from Dr. Buss's life tree. Its moments like this that make me realize how special Dr. Buss was and reminds me to stow the rash reactions and have faith in the processes that he put so much effort into.

There replaying it on TWC Sportsnet right now and I believe it will be up on the Lakers website to watch with an on demand stream.
