This man needs to get the MVP this year. HIs will JUST drive this team from 8 games behind and now 8 games above.
but nope. the nba is funded by david sterin.

Gotta relish in how exciting the Houston vs OKC and Denver vs Golden State games are gonna be. And the revenge of the Memphis vs Clippers game.
And the underdogs Lakers vs the Spurs series.
Could be one of the most exciting first rounds in a long time.
If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.

Denver is still too fast for us, and losing Gallo doesn't change much now that we don't have Kobe (he finds his way onto Kobe quite a bit on the defensive end, and for some reason, Kobe ends up matching up with him the other way, and he just stretches the floor).
But...something interesting to note: the Warriors CAN beat this Denver team in a series, and while they lost the regular season series 3-1, one of those losses was in double OT, and Curry was struggling through three of those four games (the guy was having issues most of the season, fighting through injuries again, and just started hitting that all-star level game not too long ago).
They haven't played Denver since January 13th.
In April, Curry has put up 25/4/8 on 47/44/96 shooting...which is basically bad ass.
Thing is, we can beat Golden State in a series, because they have no answer for the Dwight/Gasol duo.
It's interesting to stand back and see just how important it was to land this #7 seed.
We could take a path of the Spurs, Warriors, and then the Grizzlies/Clippers, if OKC is upset by one of them. A Lakers/Clippers series would mean all seven home games for us, but they run. Memphis is a defensive grind-it-out team, kind of the way we have to be now, and we have two bigs to counter theirs...
Yes...this is me being positive about something I truly feel negative about.
