@AlexKennedyNBA
The New York Knicks have traded Ronnie Brewer to the Oklahoma City Thunder for a second-round pick. Brewer was just informed of the deal.
What a steal.
that pisses me off that the thunder were able to do two small deals...
while the lakers got nothing done... at alll... not even a rumor of them getting anything done...
thunder were one of the best teams in the NBA, and they made 2 small moves to get better...
lakers are terrible, and they stayed that way... they CHOOSE to do nothing!

Surprised Josh smith and cousins are still with their teams.
Im not
They are top end talent, and were getting bad offers...
With the new CBA, no one wants to take back money

Its hard when we have no picks and our only expandable players are mwp duhon and blake. Teams are trying to get rid of salary and want picks back which we dont have.that pisses me off that the thunder were able to do two small deals...

The thunder have young assets...
The Lakers just have 3rd string scrubs and veterans with ugly contracts what did you expect?
Really the only intriguing piece we had was Earl Clark whom I'm glad we've kept and Jordan Hill but hes injured...

brutal that the lakers have no assets...
but, when you look at the really small moves that were made that involved 2nd round picks, i find it hard to believe that the lakers could not have swung SOMETHING

Small moves?
Lakers don't need another PG in Eric Maynor with like 10 in our rotation already.
Jordan Crawford and Brewer were great moves but once again remember we have 0 roster spots and no solid picks.
As for expiring contracts, we don't have a single one above 2 million.
As a fan, its difficult but we just have NOTHING haha.
I'm sorry for Utah fans though. I was expecting to see Al Jeff or Milsap go for a solid piece but guess not.

No and how could of we had them "For free?"
Nobody wants what we're offering.

They basically dumped those players for nothing.
Crawford got traded for an expiring contract who's out for the season (Barbosa).
Maynor got traded for a TPE and the draft rights for some player.
