Since everyone is loving to post negative things how about something positive?

This is the ENTIRE interview quote of "I want to win where I'm at"

Amazing how it doesn't seem so selfish when the entire quote is shown isn't it?

Be careful before you judge.

Q: On if there’s any part of him that wants to be traded:
Howard: I just want to win. I just want to win right now where I’m at. I’m committed to this team, to this season and what we can accomplish right now. I’m going to do whatever I can to help this team win. That’s it.

Q: On a report about him being unhappy in Los Angeles:
Howard: Listen, I have never said anything about none of this stuff. So if anybody has a report or anything about what’s going on, if it’s not from me, then obviously it can’t be true. I’m not going to let this situation defeat me. I’m not going to let whatever has happened up until today or in the past affect me. I’m going to get back to being who I am and defeat whatever is in front of me. That’s where I stand in this whole situation. We’re going to look at this second half of the season as an opportunity for our team to do something special and something great, and we’re going to do this for Dr. Buss

Does put things in a little perspective doesn't it?

I hope Dwight backs it up but I expect people to say "back it up Dwight! Ill believe it when I see it!". Whenever its something negative its instantly believed by a mass and when its something positive it needs to be "proven"

Anyway here's something positive that Dwight has said and I like it a lot.

Second half of the season let's go!!

Is Wayne Brady gonna have to Djokovic? - Robert Flores

Leggo lakers, time to prove me wrong. In the initial "will we make the playoffs" thread I said they wouldn't make the playoffs. It's not often that I hope I'm wrong, but damn I hope I'm wrong.

Hopefully Dwight starts looking like Dwight, because without Pau we REALLY need him to step up big.

Faith in LALAL restored. lol

All reports about Dhoward have been overreacted like I have been saying. Dont trust the media hype they want us to burn, because us burning gets them views and thus money!

+1 for thinking about me though.

LMAO! How do you pull positivity from that?

had pau said something like this it would all be "trade pau" etc etc. We have given Howard too many get out of jail free cards. Its time to stop talking and play and if hes too injured then sit out.

And Ive watched each of the opening day games, and aside from the 1st game of that 3 game home stand a few weeks back I saw no difference in any of them.

Don't worry people will spin this around to bash Dwight.

"We're"?

Ok. Winning solves all problem. If the Lakers were in the top 4 in the West, we wouldn't be having these conversations.

Lets just get ready for the 2nd half and pray that it starts and ends better than the first half. Do that and everything else takes care of itself.

The big difference with Dwight tonight was his screens. He set some strong picks, followed by a strong roll to the basket. Often Nash wouldn't find him right away, but Nash would kick it to Kobe on the perimeter, who would then reward Dwight in the paint who was getting himself in great position.
