Yes, I read it, but what I meant is that we shouldn't force Kobe out or amnesty him after what he has done for the organization just to get Dwight to stayDid you even read the second article?
Dwight didn't ask for Kobe gone.
The guy that wrote the article said "hypothetically" that "IF dwight ever askled it if he was going to stay in LA that he thinks the Lakers would do it.L
Dwight didn't say a thing and the writer said off bat he was basing it on hypothetics.
Did you read the article? The guy even said they could "amnesty" Kobe hypothetically.
Bet your bottom dollar they'd amnesty Gasol before ever amnestying Kobe.
Think..and read..

With Kobe being done in two years, there's NO CHANCE they get rid of Kobe. I'm 100% sure of that.
That's what I'm saying. Kobe deserves to retire on his terms for everything his given us. Lakers would be stupid to "dump" Kobe

As he said we got 2 year window which depends on Kobe. Basically he's saying if Kobe only plays another 2 years while Dwight is here, that's our window.
If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.
You should reach more often

Well if Kupchak says the Howard IS their future. You can best believe if he request that Kobe Bryant to be removed he IS going to be on his way out.
it cant happen this yr nor next yr so if Kobe wanted to continue as a Laker past that point & D12 already resigned with Lakers - Mitch aint gonna honor D12 request.

Then they aren't laker fans....they are Kobe fans.Is Mitch puffin that wacky tabacy? Seriously can we slow down and limit the expectations of Dwight just a little bit. It took KAJ like 20 years to get a statue and now Mitch is ready to give D12 his already.
And if the Lakers force a trade of KB24 somehow/someway.....I'm sorry but the Lakers will lose a fan thats spent lots and lots of money over the years on tickets, merch, memorabilia, etc.
You dont give more loyalty to a injured center whos done nothing but sign a one year deal with you than you do to the player whos won 5 chips and is your greatest all time. Its the exact definition of LOYALTY.

this is the funniest thing Ive seen all week because it actually means that Obama, Binden and Pelosi dont read the crap policies they vote for and institute. Like a Health Care bill that was voted on and passed before it was even written. Thats a awesome image...lol

It seems Jim wants to start from the beginning. Wants to get rid of everything that has to do with his dad. Not promoting shaw, getting rid of the triangle, now the last piece . Get rid of Kobe .. Just saying
