The Oklahoma City Thunder and Phoenix Suns discussed a trade over the All-Star break centered on Marcin Gortat for Kendrick Perkins.

The Thunder would receive Gortat and P.J. Tucker from the Suns for Perkins, Jeremy Lamb and a first round pick.

Perkins is signed through the 14-15 season while Gortat becomes a free agent in 2014.

im all for that!
that would make okc softer on the front court, and no more perkins "legal" screens
not to say gortat is soft or anything

okc becomes pretty unbeatable by anyone other than Miami with that trade. gortat is actually an offensive threat, more athletic. only issue would be giving up Jeremy lamb who has potential. but that's a hell of a starting lineup

I would actually like to see that.
Yeah Gortat is solid but Perkins role is just perfect for OKC and I think it would ruin the Chemistry.
