Dwight Howard was asked on Tuesday if he wants to be traded from the Los Angeles Lakers.
"I just want to win, right now, where I'm at," said Howard.
Howard made several comments during All-Star Weekend to suggest he was far from happy with his situation with the Lakers.
Mitch Kupchak has repeatedly said both privately and publicly that the Lakers will not trade Howard before Thursday's deadline.

If that was the case then why didnt he just say no I dont want to be traded. Like I aid before any player would have said that on the lakers. No reason to be mad at what he said. Pretty much said he wants to win with the Lakers.

Right now, he's with the Lakers. He wants to win. People should stop reading into it so much.

What does saying he doesn't want to be traded have anything to do with contract negotiation. That doesn't mean he will resign. Just means he doesn't want to go to a team he didn't want to go to.false, it is a contract negotiation, in negotiations you don't reveal your hand

Well, if Dwight said he wanted to be traded, he could go to his beloved Nets. If he was traded to any team, he would be able to re-sign there for an extra year and $30 million more than he would as a free agent. So if he wanted out, he would prefer to be traded. What does saying he doesn't want to be traded have anything to do with contract negotiation. That doesn't mean he will resign. Just means he doesn't want to go to a team he didn't want to go to.
