Dwight Howard was asked on Tuesday if he wants to be traded from the Los Angeles Lakers.
"I just want to win, right now, where I'm at," said Howard.
Howard made several comments during All-Star Weekend to suggest he was far from happy with his situation with the Lakers.
Mitch Kupchak has repeatedly said both privately and publicly that the Lakers will not trade Howard before Thursday's deadline.

Then you won't go to Atlanta or Dallas.

It would be so hilarious if he says right after the trade deadline that he's not resigning with the Lakers...lmao

He's really choosing his words carefully, lol.

"You watch anime?"

- "Yeah, I just got into it! Just recently, I just started watching Attack on Ti-"

"Get away from me, pleb."

No reason to be mad at what he said. Pretty much said he wants to win with the Lakers.

If that was the case then why didnt he just say no I dont want to be traded. Like I aid before any player would have said that on the lakers.

Right now, he's with the Lakers. He wants to win. People should stop reading into it so much.

What does saying he doesn't want to be traded have anything to do with contract negotiation. That doesn't mean he will resign. Just means he doesn't want to go to a team he didn't want to go to.

Well, if Dwight said he wanted to be traded, he could go to his beloved Nets. If he was traded to any team, he would be able to re-sign there for an extra year and $30 million more than he would as a free agent. So if he wanted out, he would prefer to be traded.

That's fair. But complaining about his injuries is a bit wearing. Take a page from Kobe. Play if you can, and if you can't, sit. Bro.

Dan Fegan is working his magic right now. Everything we are hearing from Howard has been calculated and predetermined. The ONLY reason Dan has him not saying anything in an absolute is because he wants Dwight to get that $117m. Dan knows the story of injured big men that never go back to form, and hes not going to risk his client saying anything that could mean hurting his financial future.
