After defeating the Jazz tonight, Nuggets head coach George Karl told reporters: "I hate helping the Lakers."

Thanks George Karl. lol.

So far, we did what we were supposed to do against Dallas and Denver won, like they we're supposed to.

Mem Let's just win one of the two first games.

@LAC Let's jus win one of the two first games.

NO Must win. AND we must put them away early, so we can rest for the next game.

@Por. We need this one as well. Portland will do whatever they can to make everything miserable.

GS

SA

HOU

Of the last 3 we need at least 1, preferrably 2 wins, to have a chance. That'll end us with 43-39 or 42-40.

NO Utah will win this one.

@GS Let's hope they lose this one.

OKC And this one.

Min Probably a win for Utah.

@Min Perhaps a win for Min. They need to lose one of the two Minny games.

@Mem This will depend on the standings. If Mem is locked into a certain seed, they may throw the game. If not, it's a loss for Utah.

This would give them 3, hopefully 4 losses, which lands them at 42-40 or 41-41 area.

No more losses, now it's time to win out.

Gallinari injured in tonight's game. Really feel bad for Denver.

On the other hand, our schedule is not easy. The only teams I am confident of us beating are NO and HOU.

Important games today:

NOH @ UTA   - I think NOH will upset the Jazz, they're playing great unselfish basketball recently, why not?
OKC  @ IND   - IND must win. OKC should be tired after a huge battle vs SAS yesterday

GSW @ PHX  - GSW will win, PHX only win when they play the Lakers at home
HOU @ POR - Portland has already quit, then I expect an easy win for HOU

I'll be really happy if either the Jazz or the Thunder lose and of course the Lakers win.

Poor Denver

I was hoping for some 2004 Detroit piston magic for them

Gallo and Lawson both hurt effectively knocks them out of championship contention

Mike Trudell @LakersReporter18h
This season, @SteveBlake5 is shooting 42.7% from 3-point range. That ranks 11th in the NBA. @SteveNash is 6th at 43.8%.

^ Problem is Nash doesn't take enough. If only he took as many or closer to MWP, imagine.

Good win by the Lakers. When I was trying to come up with the most reasonable scenario for the Lakers to get into the playoffs, I didn't have them winning this game.

Utah's next 2 are crucial. They go to Golden State, then play OKC at home. After that, they only have 1 more game against a + .500 team, which is their season finale at Memphis.
