Dallas just won the game lol... Dallas to overtake UTAH and theyre the ones that are going to be chasing us... We should have sealed a playoff spot with a win over Washington/Phoenix instead we lose 2 easy games and we are going to be battling till the end. If Dallas stays close then beats us when we match up with them soon they may overtake us... Lakers need to play with urgency again.

Laker fan for life.

So Utah and Dallas are both 34-36

If we win against the warriors we put them behind us and I think we hold the tiebreaker on Dallas?

Dallas winning was the better result. I'd rather have as much distance as possible from the the next closest competitor. And if Utah won and the Lakers got another L, Utah would already be in control of their own destiny since they have the tiebreaker.

We're up 2-1 on Dallas in the season series so we would just have to beat them at home when we play them in April. That's why that game we won in Dallas last month was so huge because we were like half a game ahead of them at that point with the season series tied 1-1.

So we'd rather have Dallas be the 9th seed than Utah.

Popovich and the Spurs are scared of the Lakers, everyone knows it. Yesterday, they lost on purpose. They'd rather have the 2nd seed than playing the Lakers in the 1st round.

Arguably the greatest franchise ever

I also believe the Spurs lost that game on purpose.

That would be funny if the spurs are purposely trying to avoid the lakers by getting the 2 seed and lakers end up in 7th. Lakers will be lucky to get 8th with the way they're playing lately, but still

The Mavs are playing better and are tied with Utah, but I still think Utah is still more likely to catch the Lakers than the Mavs.

Utah's schedule is easier and they already clinched the tiebreaker with the Lakers by winning the season series.

Dallas and the Clippers playing to a stand still.

Tie game, minute left...darn clippers lol, they've struggled more post all-star break than we have. Good thing they were the second and third seed instead of the fifth or they'd be the seventh now.

Their "depth" apparently... But since all-star break they've been one of the worst of the top 8 western conference teamsd not named the jazz or the warriors.

They are bothing more than the Hornets team Chris Paul was trying to get away from in the first place. They are headed to play Denver in the first round...that's an exit.

Definitely looked better but I'll withhold judgment till tomorrow's game. Still think he should come off the bench. You never go away from what was working and that's exactly what D'Antoni's done. Luckily it didn't cost us tonight but it could easily tomorrow. Just hope he's finally done giving away games and ground to the Jazz and Mavs.

Loved Pau off the bench had much energy and is better suited to be a center than a pf

Right and additionally if he starts picking his game up he can easily become the leader of our bench unit and start playing more inspired ball which would not only practically guarantee us making the playoffs, but our odds of upsetting the spurs or whoever else will greatly increase.
