If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.

And now the Spurs are playing on even terms with Utah. Bringing back Tony so soon seems to throw things off. And Tim is having a bad game. Perfect night to play down to Utah's level San Antonio..
They're losing on purpose I think. Hopefully I jinxed it

At least Utah didn't steal that game in San Antonio.
Seriously. That would have been disastrous.

Looking at the schedule, the Lakers may be in more trouble than people realize. This week was really the last easy week the Lakers have for the rest of the season, and they went 1-2 against Sacramento, Phoenix, and Washington.
Next week's road trip includes 2 good teams(Golden State and Milwaukee) and 2 teams who aren't bad at home (Sacramento and Minnesota). In April, they only face 3 non-playoff teams(Dallas, New Orleans, and Portland). Dallas will be fighting for their playoff lives, and Portland is a really good home team.
The Lakers really needed to use this week to separate themselves from Utah.

The Bucks don't worry me, and neither do the Kings.
None of those games worry me in the slightest...unless Pau starts

Golden State doesn't worry me and if we beat them twice we're 7th seed

And that scares me to death unfortunately. We seriously might have just seen our playoff hopes dashed tonight with the upcoming schedule and the uncertainty of what D'Antoni will do with the starting lineup. Plus Jamison got injured [expletive]

Considering the Lakers just lost to 2 awful teams, you should be concerned. The Lakers can't afford to get in another bad stretch like we've seen to often from this team. Utah's schedule is also tough throughout, but I think the Lakers' officially becomes tougher than their's next month.

Im not worried because I know we can beat those teams but not with Gasol starting! Thats obvious by now.
So we'll see what happens. The more we try to keep Asol "happy" the worse off we'll be

The Lakers are hanging to the frickin 8th seed by a thread. Every team, every game should concern you. This Laker team is capable of losing to anyone on any given night.

Your right. It's going to be up to them to get us out of this little rut right away. But I'll take the position we're in over the position we were in a month and a half ago any day.
