I have got to admit, when I heard the Lakers had traded for Dwight I was over the moon and i always thought if Dwight got here all the rubbish mind games he played would go away..................but it has not and he's actually starting to get on my nerves....pretty impressive when I live five thousand miles away from him. Unless his attitude changes I would now be very much on-board with a trade that brought in some young talented players that kobe could enjoy playing with. Dwight is an ass, too much pressure to please him etc, spoilt brat basically. Ship him out.

Man. As bad as this first half has been, I wonder if all the adversity and the passing of Dr. Buss will light a flame. With the outside pressure and media attempts to bury the lakers, I wonder if the Lakers have a run in them similar to the one after Magic retired.

Kobe doesn't care who gets traded.....he only cares about winning.

Actually that looked mnore like Kobe saying he could careless what the media says and doesn't focus on any stories because all it'd serve to do is divert his attention off what's really important, his tean's next game so to set an example as he's the leader he doesn't get distracted by it and doesn't entertain the questions from the media whether the stories are true or false because he doesn't want to but ultimately because his team can't afford to have 'him' of all peopole unfocused and worried about what stories the 'media' prints.

It was actually an awesome perspecrive and answer.

How u turned that into "I don't care if dwight is traded" is beyond me..

If Kobe said "it doesnt matter" in response to a question regarding whether Dwight will be traded, that speaks volumes to me. One would expect Kobe, if he is all good with Dwight, to have his back with the media and say something like "we've had a difficult adjustment period, but Dwight is a great player with a strong will to win and we need him now more than ever". The neutral response is a negative one in reality, Kobe is just playing nice for the media.

The media loves drama in LA, whether its true or not. So many fight it, but the health of the Lakers if good or bad drives the most numbers for any NBA coverage.
