Consider this: celts would have Dwight for playoffs this year. If they get 6 seed could avoid MIA until ECF.

Nash is an unselfish guy. He is not one of those players who whines about not getting touches. Keep in mind also that he has basically started the entire time in his career. It would be a transition, but he is 39 years old. I think that will make it more understandable.

This Lakers front office does not give in to fear. They wouldn't trade a guy like Dwight unless they get a good deal. They knew the risks when they traded for him.

Horrible fit. Our problem is that the coach is the most incompetent coach in the league, who continually takes talent-loaded teams, and turns them into teams that can't even reach .500. Rondo is ball-dominant, and is a weak perimeter shooter. We are already seeing what happens when you pair Kobe with a ball-dominant guard in Nash. Kobe needs a role playing type PG, as well as talented bigs, to be successful...Not to mention, a competent coach who doesn't flagrantly misuse his players.

Y'all are clowns if y'all don't want Rondo. I know it's giving up Dwight but if you really wanna get best value back it's Rajon Rondo no question Lakers get burned every damn year by an opposing PG and with Rondo he will finally fill that void offensively and defensively. And with all that cap space in 2014 Rondo would be the only person on the Lakers roster and it could be easier to attract free agents knowing they will have an elite point guard that can score, drop dimes, and rebound.

Nope. Non-superstars don't attract FAs. And, you can't really bank on that anyway.

The thing about having a legit number 1 guy is that even if you don't attract top level superstars, you can surround him with complimentary pieces and still contend.

now this is a joke but honestly kobe and nash to boston for rondo and expirings wouldn't kill us. in a future sense. but in a sense of trading kobe i'd hate it with all my guts.
