Thank you Jerry. You and the Lakers have filled me and my family with an immeasurable amount of joy. I'll remain a fan for life and remember your name when we are on top of the mountain again. Whenever it may come, the next championship is especially for Jerry!

Rest in Paradise Dr. Buss

Your commitment and influence on the game will be echoed throughout the corridors of NBA until the end of time. You're an icon, a legend, the golden standard of what an owner in any sport should strive to be like.

We love you Doc, get some rest, we'll always be here to support the team you've made it so easy for us to love.

I just suddenly got hit with extreme sadness....I wish Jim can be more like his dad, actually i wish Dr. Buss would've let Jeannie run the show instead.

Does anyone know what's that pinting behind Dr. Buss here, in the "Remembering Jerry Buss" vid narrated by ESPN's Shelley Smith?

I don't normally pick up physical copies of the newspaper these days, but I just had to get this morning's LA Times.

As a Laker fan you can't help but learn of the importance of Dr. Jerry Buss. He set the standard for what it takes to be a true owner of an NBA Team. He also has a loving family and many close friends with great stories to tell of the man. I particularly loved seeing him on Poker after dark. Also he rocked an awesome mustache even better than Selleck's on Mag Pi, and Dr. Buss did it first. Dr. Jerry Buss will always have a fond place in my heart and bring a smile to my face.

Hugh Hefner to come on 710 ESPN 5pm PST to talk about Dr. BUSS. I hope Max and Marcellus dont interrupt him 100 times when hes sharing stories, those two are the absolute worst here in LA
