Los Angeles Lakers owner Jerry Buss is dying of cancer and is currently surrounded by family and friends at his hospital bedside, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.
The businessman and billionaire is at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and a source close to the situation tells RadarOnline.com that Lakers players have been calling with well-wishes and even stopping by to see him in what they expect to be his final days.
“Jerry isn’t doing well and it’s quite sad, but he’s surrounded by loved ones,”

The Lakers are going to be so [expletive]ed for a while...

Magic, we need you to put together a buyout and get this team away from Jim Buss. Even Jeanie will not speak to him anymore...

Really you're worried about the team? Have some respect.

This is a man that is about to lose his life and kids losing their father. The other stuff is irrelevant and can be dealt with later.

For the record, if ANYONE comes into this thread and derails it with Jim Buss shots, you're gone. No questions asked.

A sad day in Laker land appears to be fast approaching. He is the gold standard of sports franchise owners.

This is such an unfortunate situation. I send my thoughts and prayers to he and his family. My mother is going through the same battle with cancer right now.

[expletive]

and he'll be succeeded by the incompetent son, Jim Buss, the root of all Lakers' struggles

Take away the elite-management, which the Lakers have benefited since it moved to LA, the only thing the Lakers have right now is that they are in a big market city.
Most of teams have none of that, so I guess I shouldn't be complaining
