I was a kid when he was traded...I was really sad that day
but I don't put any blame on Vin....he's one of the nicest people in the world
Gary Sheffield became my favorite player anyways so it was no big deal looking back on it

^ Agreed. Liked Piazza when he was here a ton like most everyone, but Sheffield wasn't too bad himself. Plus that cool batting stance/style he always had.

Piazza is one of my all time favorites but this is just stupid...
That was just a normal interview. Scully didn't bash Mike or make it seem like he was taking sides against him...in fact, he gave him not one but TWO chances to tell the world that he didn't give the Dodgers an ultimatum, yet he couldn't connect with that softball.
