Im convinced the Laker FO doesnt give a rip if we win this year or not and theyre just gonna put the onus on this $100 mil payroll to get it done. We are desperate at backup C and SF and they do nothing. They probably believe these small moves wont make a difference in winning a championship or not so why waste the $. SMDH

All aboard: All signs point to the Bulls winning a four-team race and signing Lou Amundson to a 10-day contract on Saturday, bringing their roster to the maximum 15 players. Amundson, who was waived by the Timberwolves on Feb. 8, would be big-man insurance while Taj Gibson remains sidelined with a sprained MCL in his left knee. The Heat, Celtics and Knicks also are in the mix for Amundson. - See more at: http://www.chicagotr...e.com/sports/ba ... IYBDc.dpuf

If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.
You should reach more often

^Good record, no debate there but perspective is important. We played 6 teams with winning records (counting the Celtics who are barely over .500 in the East). We went 2-4 against those teams, counting the win against the Celts. We played, in my view, 3 truly "good" teams- Clippers, Heat and Nuggets. We lost to all 3, by an average of 15 points (all road losses)
Let's look at January. 5-11 record. We played 10 teams with winning records, going 2-8. We played 6 truly "good" teams- Clippers, Denver, SA, OKC, Miami and Memphis. We went 1-6 against those teams. The average loss was by 9 (a few more home losses).
So in Feb. we played a weaker schedule, beat the teams we are supposed to (which is a start, for sure), but still cant really compete consistently with the "good" teams. Maybe March will see that turn around as well.

It would be nice if we can just sign a big to a 10-day contract...we are so small when dwight sits and we got effin. Antawn Jamison playing center....wtf? Why can't we just sign that new guy from the defenders Jerome Jordan to a 10-day. *slaps kupchak in the back of the head*

This guy is a huge liability on offense, he won't play under Mike D'Antoni's system.
Arguably the greatest franchise ever

The Lakers are often hesitant to really make drastic changes mid season. Last year it was very clear the team wasn't going to go anywhere but they stood pat other than Sessions. Pau is the only big deadline trade I can remember in the past 10 or so seasons, and obviously the Lakers were going to go for that one.

Louis Amundson turned down offer to sign for the rest of the season with an NBA team since he already committed to signing 10-day with Bulls
