^Sign of the times, but accurate. We are looking at Minny cast offs, means we have hit the bottom. At this point, if he comes cheap and on a short contract, why the [expletive] not? Anything is worth a shot now

I agree but to be fair, who would've thought that Houston/NY (Hill) & Orlando (Clark) castoffs would become some of our most valuable players? Not saying Amundson will do that, far from it, but you just never know in the NBA.

To showcase some of what is capable of doing. The video is kind of old though, so may be better, or worse. I haven't seen much of him.

Dwight can go out any game with his labrum. Gasol is out 6-8 weeks. Hill i sout for the season. Clark now has a sore foot.
We need bodies, why do people make it seem like that is indicative of anything except HEALTH, which is our primary problem this season.

I hate when people say " are we that desperate" Or "Lakers have hit bottom when they want..."

You make a good point. I'm sure the Lakers aren't WANTING to add these bodies.... our squad wasn't designed to deal with injury like this. =/

he inst known to be a 3 point shooter. in his career, he never even attempts 3 point field goals. He is more of a hustler energy player. He does bring some rebounding, except the last couple of years he has been eh. His TRB per 36 last year was 10.5. though.I haven't seen him play. all i know bout him is he's good at shooting three ( i think) lol. is he good at all?

"Impossible is just a big word used by small men who find it easier to live the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact, It's an opinion. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing."

Health is the primary problem, no question. And a fair amount of the health issues were entirely predictable.
-Dwight is coming off major back surgery. To expect him to play every night, even without a labrum issue, is probably not relaistic. The FO knew this when the season started.
-Pau is 32 and showed clear signs of slowing down last season. The FO knew this when the season started. An injury to a thin framed older big man, gee what a surprise!
-Jordan Hill, when the season started, had an injured back, and has shown, even with a limited time in the league, a propensity to be injured. The FO knew this when the season started.
-Clark, when the season started, was viewed as a throw in as part fo the Dwight trade, so anything he has provided has been in the pleasant surprise/ unexpected category.
So the FO knowingly rolled the dice here. Bad back starter, aging/ declining skills backup, injured and injury prone backup to the backup. All this was reasonably predictable, so I cant chalk it up to a "we just had a sudden unexpected rash of injuries" perspective.
Desparation time. When we are looking at the NBA scrap heep for "bodies" to play major minutes rather than just fill a backup to the backup spot, that is no longer Lakers basketball. That is starting to look like the Clippers of old.
