I don't think anyone was the "biggest disappointment"

World Peace
Dwight Howard
Not fair to put D12 on this list coming off a serious injury but he has been lightweight disappointing at times. Even at 75% he is capable of doing more and trying harder at times.
He's over using his injury as an excuse for his poor games, which he shouldn't be doing even if its evident. He's out in the media discussing how it takes time, how he wasn't supposed to be playing until January. He should have a no excuses mentality.
If you play, give it all your effort. If not, then sit down and get 100%. Don't half ass it and then say "but Im not 100% yet, everybody needs to be patient." Bull[expletive]. Even at 3/4 full health he is the best Center in this league. Play like it.

Everyone's roles were going to change when this team was put together. That was a given. Gasol was asked to shoot more threes? He has shot 26 all season long, in 36 games...under an average of one a game. They aren't turning him into Ray Allen.
Since 2009, Gasol has been stepping out and shooting 16-footers. He was asked to post up more just this season, and while it's assumed that Dwight won't allow that, Gasol won't post up even when Howard is sitting on the bench.
Gasol hasn't used injuries as an excuse? Yes he has, an injured hammy and having to play with his injured foot all season long before the tear. Not only that, but age also seems to be a factor, and that's what people are using against this team.
But old teams can still get to the Finals, says the 2011 Dallas Mavericks and the 2010 Boston Celtics...as long as they know how to play old.
Gasol has had so much flexibility in this offense, asked to play 2-3 different ways, and he couldn't pull it off until Kobe was spoon-feeding him as the second option. Well, unfortunately, we won't win with Howard and Nash deferring to Pau Gasol, so the disappointment is that he's not able to play the role he SHOULD be playing for this team.

Pau injuries/ inconsistency.
Dwight's injuries/ immaturity.
Ron's shot selection/ losing defensive steps.
Nash's leadership/ inability to get a MDA offense clicking.

There were times where we didn't have a PG, and we also didn't have a PF as far as I'm concerned.
Everyone who says Howard is talking from a purely emotional point, based mainly on media speculation.

Without chemistry, you have nothing. But 3 coaches & multiple injures also added to this letdown. With this squad, they should be a 4th or 5th seed.

I agree. We also need Derek Fisher in our locker room. Did anyone notice 4 of these 5 are old as hell and from a turnover and defensive standpoint they play old??Kobe's leadership/ inability to find balance between shooting 30 times then being too passive.
Pau injuries/ inconsistency.
Dwight's injuries/ immaturity.
Ron's shot selection/ losing defensive steps.
Nash's leadership/ inability to get a MDA offense clicking.
