This didn't bother me, it simply served as a reminder that AB is not completely there - yet, nor was he prior to his injury last year.
He was great in certain spots last season, and the Lakers used that effectively. My excitement is due to the fact that I am confident he will regain that January form, and even more. Plus, everything he does in the short -term is a plus.
All that said, he does need to start looking more thoroughbred-like, and less gazelle-like, because we need a physical presence on the court, or else teams will push us around in the post-season (see: Utah, New Orleans, Boston, Cleveland, Detroit).
It was nice to see Ariza push people around a little.

Wasn't that Fisher's foot he stepped on?
No, he rolled it himself, watch the replay.
Btw any follow up after today from Marc Spears?

Oden didn't destroy Bynum but he definitely made him think twice about what to do for pretty much the whole game. Defensively Oden has it on Bynum, but offensively Bynum has it on Oden. It should be a fun decade of watching these guys go at it every year - providing they can both stay healthy.

Stats or not, having Andrew back in the fold had an impact.

With that said.. Bring on the Clippers. Don't nobody in this league besides Portland has as much depth as the Lakers do... And when that units starts to run and gun....... It'll take a nation of BALLERs to hold Dem Laks Back....

1. oden still has not played more than 10 minutes in an NBA game
2. odens post play is 100% garbage watching him chuck shots at the basket made dwight howard look like tim duncan
3. his free throws were reminiscent of shaq i guess a comparison is warranted there
4. bynum has more post moves, more length, more strength, more IQ, more touch around the basket, more competitive fire, more fundementals and bynum is only 1 year older than oden 1 year !!!!!!
the pundits can say what they want and continue to ignore bynum but at only 1 year older than oden bynum is 5 years ahead of him in offensive fundementals and 2 years ahead of dwight howard
the more they ignore him the more i realize how dumb the pundits are
