The Brooklyn Nets are aggressively trying to trade for Atlanta Hawks forward Josh Smith, according to league sources.
While it has been reported that the Nets are also targeting Ben Gordon, acquiring Smith has become their top priority.
Kris Humphries, whose name was involved in a potential deal for Gordon, would be included in one for Smith as well.
No trade is imminent between the Nets and Hawks, sources said.
