When it comes down to finding ourselves. Mike Brown had the idea bluieprint. Nash off ball, running double post at times, running 4 out 1 in at times with Howard and our spread shooters and running some triangle here and there with Gasol and Kobe.

He was on the verge of simplifying the offense to everyone's strengths as Kobe put it. But we canned him before we got the chance to see where we'd wind up as. The funny thing is Mike Brown predicted that we'd go 0-3 before our first good game and that happened, he was about to tone down his overcoaching and simplify the offense a little more as him and Kobe had stayed up about it and that day prior the "long practice" we were running it.

Why do you think when the people talked about our new way of playing Bickerstaff said that Brown had prepared them to play that way.

They fired him too soon when the blueprint was pretty much there.

Can't go back on it now though. Gotta live with what we have. He made a lot of mistakes too in rotatioms and playing Ebanks over Meeks but the blueprint for how we should play was there and after going 4 and 1 with Bickerstaff we should have stuck with and evolved it instead of throwing it out the window only to pretty much go back to it 40 games later :P

If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.

You should reach more often ;)

Can you have another option saying "Neither"?

This is like saying which piece of [expletive] smells better, but at the end of the day, they are both [expletive].

I wonder if Mike Brown had not started 0-4 if he's still be around. Oh well it's in hindsight now.

No.

He'd still try and run that horrid "Princeton offense" hoping that the players would work it out.
