Lakers to make playoffs have to go 20-10 rest of the way

No one saw that coming.
If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.
You should reach more often

4-3 on this road trip, dropping a pointless game to Phoenix, just about letting Detroit slip away as well, being down by 20 and barely scraping back against them, getting destroyed by Boston and then finishing up with a brain fart performance in Miami is not turning a corner, doing well or improving.
I appreciate the optimism but at some point the reality that this season is done and the Lakers are a bottom tier team have got to set in.
It's one thing being a loyal fan, it's quite another being utterly miopic about the situation at hand. The first step to correcting a problem is recognizing you have one.
It was 4-3, but a whisker away from 3-4, playing only one really elite team and one decent team. This was a trip filled with weak opponents, so my expectations were higher I guess. On the other hand, any winning road trip can be viewed as a good trip I suppose.

No one expected Nash to go down the second game of the season and Blake to go down 3 games later. We got a great surprise having dwight return so early but then we lost nash then blake then gasol.
No one saw that coming.
No one saw a 39 year old point guard might miss a bunch of games? Would the knee bump at Portland have affected a younger PG the same way for the same length of time? Old folks just get hurt more, check them out sometime in the nursing home with all the bandaids on. With this roster, I am actually surprised there have not been more injuries to the older players. Kobe, Jamison, MWP have held up remakably well so far.

Who is Scott Brooks?
Shut up..
Scott Brooks is an NBA basketball coach of the Okalhoma City Thunder. Disregarding his first season as coach (extremely young core players), he has a winning percentage of .675, roughly equivalent to the same percentage as Greg Popovich.

If Portland loses to Miami today, we just have to beat them in our upcoming homestand to take 9th spot unless they lose again which makes us 9th spot anyway. Houston and GS playing today too. Hopefully GS wins. Hopefully Utah loses to the Thunder. Big day
but portland is up by 10 as we speak =/

We're not getting blown out by the Spurs, I think we would have a huge chance against them.what's the point of playoffs when we're gonna get blown out by the thunder/spurs?
Arguably the greatest franchise ever

Memphis and Golden state have been playing less good as of late...
it would take a big slide for one of them to fall

We need to sweep this home stand that wraps the AS break. Houston's solid pay of late has been a bit demoralizing.
