West 7/8 seeds Jazz/Rockets on pace for 44 wins. For Lakers to get to 44 they must go 20-10 the rest of the way.
Lakers to make playoffs have to go 20-10 rest of the way

I think Houston and Utah will probably win at an even greater pace. They've looked great as of late.

My gut feeling: If they stay at the same pace, the Lakers won't make the playoffs.
I think they will.
You don't need your gut. If they continue at the same pace they won't, simple math problem.

blasphemy, we´re on win right now mode...Were not making the Playoffs.... we should have traded MWP after 2010 should have traded Pau after 2011 and shouldn't have Aquired Steve Nash when we need more athletic defensive Wing Players.... Kobe is the offense... and all we need is defensive young athletic players around him... that could of easily won us a ring.. Instead of getting Younger we got older and now shot ourselves in the foot with all these old players... who are inconsistent on offense... and NEVER play defense

I HATE THAT STATEMENT WITH A PASSION "We're on win right now mode" what the does that even mean!!! coming into this season Rockets weren't even on the radar for making the playoffs.... and with young players with a young superstar they have taken their team and have went past everybody's expectations...
Obviously this team needs some youth cause these [expletive]ty ass "veterans" we got ain't doing [expletive] for us

I was talking about Houston and Utah staying at the same pace when I said "they."
I don't think the Lakers will increase their winning pace at this point.

Not really we can go 3-1We have to win the next 4 at home...vs Suns, vs Clippers, vs Celtics, vs Blazers. you lose 1 of these guys I think its over for us. No margin for error from here on out in winnable games. After that 4 game stretch we should be at .500, 28-28

Race to get swept in the 1st round. Yay! We are fighting for the 8th seed how [expletive]ing sad.
To me, this is the dumbest perspective. First why even say it?
Second, the bottom line is the season is not a regular season for us, so what, Now we want to make the playoffs

If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.
You should reach more often
