All I want from Dwight/Lakers is consistent effort.

Have non-stop meetings/sit downs/pow wows whatever, just bring it on the court for 48.

He yelled at Nash because he couldn't get the ball to him and then he yelled at Clark for not securing a rebound. WTF is wrong with this guy??

Kobe has earned it, and can say whatver he wants. Dwight can't.

In this case you don't "earn" saying what you wanna say because you have 5 rings.

Both need each others help. Both need to work collectively and both need to look at their 10 ranked team ..

I hope it works out but imho Dwight is a bust. Hes garbage. Were paying a guy 20 mill to grab less rebounds that Chris Bosh head to head...lol. And for ALL the talk about him being a great defensive presence down low I again failed to see it tonight. If I had a highlight reel of all the dunks and layups the Heat got in a half court set when Dwight was in the game I could show how he doesnt rotate. He just stands there with his hands up. On offense its the same thing. He gets put backs. Thats good but not 20 mill.year good. D12 hu$tled us. And then after he destroys are franchise he will leave and be happy in Brooklyn where theres no pressure to win anything. He was a mistake. And as far as his dad is concerned he should STFU and not get involved.

Dwight Howard is the new Lebron James. Except James has finally grown up.

then give the 20 mill back. If it is due to injury he only wasted one of KBs final seasons. And if he doesnt resign, and he probably wont, then it was all for nothing. Then what will be the excuse?

Mitch know he wasn't going to be the Orlando Howard when we traded for him. He knew it was going to take time for him to heal. IMO, I think he resigns.

He's not full healthy and came off a back surgery. Get that through your thick skull.

Like JVG said Dwight has relied heavily on athleticism all these years and when his body is failing him like it is this year hes' having a hard time coming to terms with how to adjust. He needs to get stronger mentally. Stop being defensive. Just own up to mistakes it doesnt make you any less of a human or any less of an accomplished all star. Someone brought this up in the thread earlier I dont think he sees us making the playoffs so hes putting in the minimum effort while not jeopardizing his health & get that contract and get set for next year. He has 10 more years in this league hes not urgent about this year. Think about 07-08 Heat season, Wade sucked SO BAD. His team lost like 21 out of 22 at one point I think and he was right in the middle of those games sleepwalking through games. I know I proposed earlier that we should trade him but I was wrong. We need to be patient with this guy, he does present a bright future with his potential and his durability, he just needs to get himself physically and mentally healthy. Unfortunately it doesnt look like hes willing to do that for this year

Dwight Howard hasn't done anything this season to deserve max money, and I would be very skeptical of his recovery. I would let him walk, though I know the Lakers will give him the sun and the moon.

I just don't understand how you can play professional basketball and not work on your craft.

keep in mind Wade had a pretty bad year in 2007-2008 too. He didnt fully recover from his injuries and surgery and that Miami team was pretty abysmal
