if kobe said something similar a thread would have been made saying what a competitor he is and how he is so focused.

But that's the thing. He wouldn't. I would love nothing more than to smack lebron and the heat sunday. We won for the first time in five years in Charlotte, lets do the same in Miami.

translation lbj knows lakers have no reliable spot up shooters so the bullsheet wont last. kobe just needs to be himself and assists will come naturally. stop overpassing

Earlier this year LeBron said it wasn't his job to be a scorer, so maybe he's getting offended by people saying Kobe's good at being not only a scorer but a facilitator, which is what LeBron does. Either way, LeBron comes across as sour with this one

He comes off as being jealous to me. Maybe it eats at him that Kobe is excelling at the style of game that he prides himself on? After all, it's the thing that has sort of set him apart from Kobe. If Kobe can dominate in that same way, what does he really have left to distinguish himself from the Mamba?
The game changes, the players turnover, but the Mamba remains a constant!

What ? For years Kobe was blamed to be a ballhog, even when we won back2back the stereotype that he was a 1 on 5 player continued to live. And now he's averaging around 10 assists and shutting down all the haters. It's big .. It shows that even at this point of his career Kobe can pretty much do whatever he likes on the floor whether it is scoring or facilitating. If he did this throughout his carrer he could've had a crap load of triple-doubles, but it just wouldn't be his game.

Now when he shows that he could average 8-10 assist a night all the sceptics and haters watch in disbelief, because the one thing they could still hate on Kobe about (ballhogging) is becoming irrelevant. I agree that Lebron can say whatever he wants, 'cause he's the champ and all, but you gotta respect it .. I'd like to see him having the ability to be this versatile at age 34 ..

I feel like Lebron has the right to say what he wants right now. He backs up his mouth with his game. It would be nice if he never opened his constant running mouth since he went to Miami, but he never said anything wrong nevertheless.

Some of you guys are acting like some scrub said this who is completely below Kobe. Lebron feels like he's the best in the game and Kobe feels like he's the best in the game as well. In my mind, they should say whatever they want, they have their game to back it up.

LeBron can say whatev he wants blah blah blah, that doesn't mean as fans we cant have an opinion either. Its more than just a simple answer to a question he answered. What's he mean "he doesn't buy it"? Kobe cant facilitate or keep it up? Or he wont? Dudes just mad. Seems like kb24 hit a lil soft spot with all the assists hes been racking up. This comment sounds snide to say the least but oh well I hope we pull 1 out in southbeach come sunday. It will make it that much more sweeter.

^And absolutely torched the Lakers the last time he played us. He won a ring plain and simple. Would Kobe's 6th ring not count if he won it last year?

I'm not usually on Lebron's side but he may have said something smart for the first time ever, he is 100% correct.

The guy is the best player in the league by orders of magnitude. Kobe was in his league in his prime, maybe even better, Durant can't even carry his jock, the fact that he gets MVP run is a joke. Lebron will dominate the league for the next several seasons, and he can say whatever he wants, because he backs it up with his game. Kobe is playing great, but he is a scorer, look at last night, when the S hit the fan, Kobe turned into a scorer, because that is what he is.

How has Kobe excelled at lebrons game. Because he's done it a total of 6 games while lebrons done it his whole career while averaging almost 30 points

I see why a ton of other fans find laker fans to be ridiculous

Well he's Lebron. That's about the only problem any laker fan seems to have with him in any situation
