It doesn't matter.. he's not gonna get traded. He's got the capability of being a complete superstar and he hasn't played like it this year.. who knows if that is due to injuries or what but we aren't gonna sell low on him.

Dwight aint playing like he should thats for sure,, but the guy didn't have time to play at his best or try to shall i say ..

Don't see whats the problem having 9 and 9 ? should i remind you what kobe had in some games throughout his career ? in the end kobe found his way despite some bad games , and howard should be working on it ..

Lakers fans have been too spoiled with success in recent years. What good do you accomplish dealing away Dwight Howard right now? Did you guys not see the package that Orlando received in that 4 team trade? No way you get anywhere close to equal value when dealing away a superstar. That never happens. Dealing him for anything less than another superstar does us no good if we're stuck in limbo where we aren't a bottom-dweller nor a contender. That's just a horrible idea.

Keep him. You don't just hand away superstar players on a whim, not unless all hope is lost of keeping them. If he stays, great. If he leaves, then his image falls apart, we suck for a few years, then we re-build from the ground up. It's not the end of the world.

I say chalk this year up as a loss, do what you can to keep D12 here, keep our young talent (Clark/Hill) & trade disposable pieces for expiring contracts to make the best run we can at FA's in 2014.

i disagree with all the comments of him just plain sucking..he's been playing hurt all year and its a new environment and its very different for him

but although the lakers have tons of other issues, dwight himself, i just don't see him being able to handle the la media circus, he's too immature still...pretty much cancer in the locker room imo

When Orlando made this trade, I intially thought they really got hosed. Now, I am not so sure.
Denver- Iggy- ok but has not been a huge difference for the Nuggs
Philly- yeah
LA- jury still out

Orlando-
Afflalo- decent SG, verge of top 10 in the league
Harrington- ok PF, been hurt I think, getting old but serviceable
Vucevic- great rebounder, a real prize
3 first round draft picks (all protected I think)

So, did Orlando really get screwed????
