Trade Dwight or not?

He's obviously not happy send him to the east before he ends up with Houston or the mavs.

Try to land a 3 team deal were you get a big, a young guard, and a shooter

I wait until the end of this season before I explore that option. It is a grim looking outcome indeed, but I think it is still too early to trade Howard.

hes garbage for the Lakers. I dont care about the 1000 excuses why. It doesnt matter anymore.
We pay him $19 million to score 9 points and grab 9 rebounds against the Celtics. [expletive] is [expletive]ing ridiculous. Id trade his sorry ass for a box of jelly donuts. He doesnt want to win. Doesnt care to win. He just wants to be a media whore, drama queen spectacle. [expletive] him.
Theres a reason why he doesnt GAF about beating OUR rivals. Its because its not HIS rival. Take the jersey off.
Serious 9 points.....lol............................lol

The guy isnt a man., Hes a little [expletive]ing kid. Smiling all the time. Smile when you win. Not when you got 3-14 from the FT line. [expletive]ing guy is ridiculous. He acts like a girl...(sorry girls). An emotional wreck. The guy has no gravity. BE A [expletive]ING BOSS. BE A BOSS OR STFU. This is the Lakers. That means something and it doesnt mean being a whiney [expletive] sellout. Its a legacy and Dwight is [expletive]ing it all up. Damn it makes me sick because the theory of D12/KB/Nash/Pau/Metta was perfect. But its a perfect storm instead. Its a big [expletive]ing train wreck. Kobe must be pissed and laughing at the situation the entire time. Im disgusted at this crap.

Why is this even a thread? Mitch already said we won't trade Howard.

It doesn't matter.. he's not gonna get traded. He's got the capability of being a complete superstar and he hasn't played like it this year.. who knows if that is due to injuries or what but we aren't gonna sell low on him.

Why do people think Dwight walking is such a horrible thing for the Lakers? I'd be fine with it.

lol thats flat out dumb ..

If this is the case, then we might as well ship the whole team out ..

Dwight aint playing like he should thats for sure,, but the guy didn't have time to play at his best or try to shall i say ..

I'd wait for Dwight another year to see where he sits at ..

His putting his average numbers despite the team is 5th from bottom ..

Not even LeBron played well in his first year with miami with no injuries ..

He sure starting to piss off a bit, but that doesn't mean trade him !!

Don't see whats the problem having 9 and 9 ? should i remind you what kobe had in some games throughout his career ? in the end kobe found his way despite some bad games , and howard should be working on it ..

Lakers fans have been too spoiled with success in recent years. What good do you accomplish dealing away Dwight Howard right now? Did you guys not see the package that Orlando received in that 4 team trade? No way you get anywhere close to equal value when dealing away a superstar. That never happens. Dealing him for anything less than another superstar does us no good if we're stuck in limbo where we aren't a bottom-dweller nor a contender. That's just a horrible idea.

Keep him. You don't just hand away superstar players on a whim, not unless all hope is lost of keeping them. If he stays, great. If he leaves, then his image falls apart, we suck for a few years, then we re-build from the ground up. It's not the end of the world.

Dwight isn't going to win a ring for this team..

We'll never be able to put the ball in his hands and tell him to get us over the hump..

He'll get his rebounds and 2 blocks per game but that won't get the ring.
The Lakers FO knows more than you. Sorry.

I say chalk this year up as a loss, do what you can to keep D12 here, keep our young talent (Clark/Hill) & trade disposable pieces for expiring contracts to make the best run we can at FA's in 2014.

i disagree with all the comments of him just plain sucking..he's been playing hurt all year and its a new environment and its very different for him

but although the lakers have tons of other issues, dwight himself, i just don't see him being able to handle the la media circus, he's too immature still...pretty much cancer in the locker room imo

When Orlando made this trade, I intially thought they really got hosed. Now, I am not so sure.
Denver- Iggy- ok but has not been a huge difference for the Nuggs
Philly- yeah
LA- jury still out

Orlando-
Afflalo- decent SG, verge of top 10 in the league
Harrington- ok PF, been hurt I think, getting old but serviceable
Vucevic- great rebounder, a real prize
3 first round draft picks (all protected I think)

So, did Orlando really get screwed????
