If Big-L didn't die so young he would be in the top 5 rappers of all time : (
Agreed 100%. Everything Big L touched was classic and it's unfortunate his career had to end so early.

Biggie - Ready to die
Jay z - Black album
Kanye - My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy
As far as the 5th spot goes had to many to choose between jay, tupac, and Dre.
All of those albums I could listen to straight through, over and over again.
All I want for Christmas is a Laker girl

Yo this was my [expletive] back in the day
But for me
Nas Illmatic- Made me appreciate lyricism and probably the best album lyrically
Jay Z Reasonable Doubt- Jigga at his finest
Nas It Was Written- Almost as good as Illmatic lyrically imo just with worst subject matter, although it might be some of the best mafioso rap
Lupe Fiasco Food & Liquor- So complex great story telling and imagery, gave me hope and someone new when it came to lyrical rap
Fugees the Score/Kanye West MBDTF- The Score is an underrated masterpiece imo and its one of my faves because I think it just has great songs and for nostalgic reasons my cousin used to play it all the time when I was little. And MBDTF is not Kanyes best work lyrically but sonically those songs are complex orchestral masterpieces to me.
