What isn't is the giant gap left in the middle right now. Metta and Clark can handle the 5, but I don't have too much confidence on Sacre being a heavy minutes / rotation kinda player.

Clark and "Kobe" will have the heavier minutes till Howard is back ..

With Dwight's situation still not 100% guaranteed and Hill out, Pau wasn't going to get traded anyway, so that's a moot point.

It's good that our next few opponents are undersized inside.

That said, I do hope Dwight does return soon because having Dwight against those lineups would be the advantage.
If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.

Ebanks is already shown what he can do and thats nothing. Idk why people keep wanting to give this guy chances. He's lazy, has no jumper, plays dumb, and is a horrible attitude. You mean mwp, clark , Jamison are the only players at the 3 4 5 in the roster ... Ebanks needs a shot this time even if he's unproven..

I don't like him either ,, we have shortage in the frontcourt ,,, Metta , Jamison , Clark are the only players able to play 3,4,5 ,, you want to tell me ebanks aint playing ?!

Metta Jamison and Clark are more effective at the 3 4 5 than Ebanks is.
Know what a very good game for Ebanks is in significant minutes? 8 points 2 rebounds.
Know what a good game for Clark is? 20 and 14.
And Meeks is a better 2 than Ebanks as well.
Ebanks shouldn't play. His one claim to fame was he had one good game defensively and suddenly people labeled him a 'stopper'
In reality.. Darius Morris has had more defensively impressive games in a half of this season than Ebanks has had 3 years as a Laker.
And Clark is a better defender, scorer and all around hustler and player than Ebanks.
Ebanks will ONLY get playing time if its absolutely needed. Count on Morris and Blake getting burn at the 2 befoe Ebanks and if D'antoni HAD to play a 3 that wasn't Jamison or Clark and was saving Kobe, he'd stick Morris there before Ebanks too and rightfully so.
Morris would probably hit more threes than him too.
Which doesn't say much.
Darius Morris a point guard that left college too soon is a more reliable 3 in this league on this team than the 3 year vet Ebanks... The saddest thing about that statement is that Ebanks has had ample opportunity to prove that wrong. And hasn't...
Why SHOULD Ebanks get burn?

Say what you want about him, but he delivers pretty good numbers, averaging 13.4 ppg and 8rpg for 30 minutes per game. Certainly not the kind of numbers he had two years ago, and certainly not worth his $18mm contract.
I'm not sure where you find someone to make up those numbers with the current roster.
Signing Free Agents isn't going to give those numbers. KMart has never, ever, put up those kind of numbers--not even close, and he's psycho. This guy would be a disaster in the locker room. As for Greg Oden, the guy hasn't played basketball for two years and may not ever play again. You're not going to get 14pts and 8 bounds from either one of these clowns.
Pao's numbers will have to be made up by Kobe shooting more, which is contrary to the sucessful strategy of the last 4 games.
But we will see how they fare on this road trip Sunday.

K-Mart has never had a 13/8 season? He just put up 12/9 in 2010, at 32 years old, with five times the defense.KMart has never, ever, put up those kind of numbers--not even close, and he's psycho.
Without looking, I can tell you he has had a few 17/9 seasons, or close to it, back in New Jersey.
Doesn't mean anything now, and neither does Gasol's playing abilities back in 2009, but you can't say that K-Mart didn't reach those numbers.
