I'm beyond bumbed. were 3.5 games out and Houston plays Miami tonight...so its probable were out of the 8th seed by only 3 games after tonight. But now with Pau injured I dont know if theres any point to all of this.

"The West aint close, now that the LAL got Dwight, who gon stop him on OKC!????" - Chris Webber (nba tv -August)

Big 4s are OVERRATED. you think Nash/Kobe/Dwight cant carry the whole Offensive load!?
(Peace Pau we need pieces, not MettaWorldPieces!!!!!!!!)

thats true. if its not a serious "tear" then the all star break does buy us some time.

After looking at that video, he is clearly in pain but he wasn't moving too badly. We'll see.

Having had Planter Faciaitis and its near cousin, Post Tibia Tendonitis, this is reasonably serious. Both are very painfull. it is an inflamation of the soft membrane under the foot (the facia) or tendons with go around the inside of the foot to the toes. Treatment is rest, massive doeses of anti-inflamatory drugs, ice, and often a brace or boot to isolate the foot. Usual turn around time is about 1-2 weeks. Time to play might be longer.

If he heard a pop that would be a tear in the facia or tendon. Lord knows how long that would take, season ending I suspect.

Trade Pao? Yeah Right. The guy is criticized for being worthless and playing well below his $18mm salary. Now you want to trade an injured Pao? One would have to find a really, really stupid GM.

Bench warmer? He's been starting and even on the bench he gets 30 minutes a night

Injured? Its an injury with No long term effect, if anything it allows all of the other aches and pains to rest up

Ken Berger@KBergCBS

Pau Gasol has a partial tear of his plantar fascia and is expected to be out at least six weeks, league source tells @CBSSports.
