Pau's injury is being called a strain of the plantar fasciitis in his right foot by the Lakers. We'll have an update after his MRI Weds

Pau: "I felt a pop ... I'm worried about it." Says he'll be leaving the arena on crutches.

[expletive]

I was worried when I saw the replay and saw no twist or anything. Those are usually the worst injuries.

KEVIN DING@KevinDing

Pau heard "a pop," and if his plantar fascia is ruptured, a reasonable guess would be him missing six weeks or so.

Sign K-Mart now. Or maybe, just maybe Greg Oden

Been reading up on this injury and it really sounds like a rupture of his fascia.

Doesn't need surgery but could take up to 12 weeks to recover from. He'd be in a soft case/boot for three weeks without any activity whatsoever. :smh:

Now that you said that 6 weeks sounds much better as Kevin Ding reported.

Well it usually takes around 6 weeks but depending on the person it could be up to 12 weeks. People gotta remember that this is a 7-footer that has this injury and foot injuries are always worse for the big guys.

LOL this season has been a big 100 mill waste thus far. Keep playing hard guys but don't be surprised if they shut Dwight down as well if we start a losing streak up again.

And how long are you gonna keep waiting for it to happen so you'll have something to post about again?

Nash, Pau, and Dwight came into this season with almost no history with injuries.

Staples sells out every night. Lakers are the number one topic this season on ESPN.

So in the eyes of the Buss family, their BUSINESS is going just fine. as far as the fans, injuries have derailed the WINS...but They have been a TON of ENTERTAINING games this season.

Oden may actually be a smart sign just cuz hes a big body but the guy will probably just get hurt.
