@ESPNSteinLine
NBA just announced Metta World Peace is suspended one game w/out pay for grabbing Detroit's Brandon Knight around neck & striking him in jaw

Reputation suspension?

I mean he could have very well struck Knight as that's what the referees decided and what Knight said after the game but if he did in fact do this, why wasn't he tossed from the Detroit game? Those are things that don't make sense.

This corrupted league is ruled by a bunch of [expletive]ers.

Arguably the greatest franchise ever

Lol eblanks last time to prove yourself. Brandon knight kept nagging after the game. This is why the league did this. Btw if you saw the so called strike mwp did, it wasn't a strike lmao it was a slip. Look at the way mettas hand slips. Either its a accident our that's the ugliest upper cut I've ever seen.

His rebounding and defense on slow 4s that can't dribble will be missed. His chucking and matador perimeter D will not be missed.

I have to admit, I did not understand the call during the game and I even came into this thread thinking "That's utter bull[expletive].".

However, after watching the video I think this was a fair call. There was zero reason for Metta to do any of that and sometimes players need to be reminded by being suspended.

Could go either way after watching the video, not too upset with the call.

It is a fair call as it was intentional.

Here we go again! Lakers were rules are determined by the player involved. When its MWP forcast suspensions, fines, & ejections! When its Kobe & D12 ref forecast no calls & technicals on both guys even if they clap their hands in refute back at the refs. bullsheet
