Ramon said he wanted to stay here also. :( But anyway, Earl seems like the type of guy who would stay here, with the playing time and plethora of new fans he's gotten in the last 2 months here. I hope he does. A Clark/Hill/Dwight front line sounds amazing.

Lol, Sessions opted out hoping for a better contract, but it backfired when the Lakers traded for Nash.

If Josh Smith is a max. player, Earl should want at least 10 a year.

What's not to like about this guy? He is 6'10'', rebounds very well, plays defense, can handle the ball, shoots the 3 and he hustles. I think keeping Clark is a no-brainer.

Give him a 25-million 4-year contract. He's deserved it.

Arguably the greatest franchise ever

Happy he wants to stay, I hope we keep him with a reasonable contract though.

I'd love if we kept Hill, Clark, and Meeks. Hopefully Hill comes back healthy. Three young players who hustle and play hard all the time. If we could just add a backup point guard who can get to the rim (Sessions would've been perfect) or a small forward who can create for himself (Beasley would've been perfect) or both, then our bench would be very solid.

Hill and Meeks are on the books next season, which is good. They'll resign Clark as well.

Good, I want him here.

I think a contract similar to Hill's would be a good fit.

Well Mitch be smart this time around & realize you dont have to overpay. He was a journey man b4 getting a chance keep that in perspective. Dont do the Jordan Hill approach & over pay & then he gets injured next season.

Flawed logic. That's like saying "we're not going to give you x amount, because you might get injured next season". Of course if they're an injury prone player, you don't over pay. But I don't see anything wrong with offering a decent contract to a healthy and productive player.

A big thing clark knows is we gave him his chance. Any other team would have just kept him on the bench or done nothing with him like orlando and the suns did. We gave him his opportunity and now it looks like e is gonna hava a long and great carear(if he stays un injured). The worst thing some times these young guys do is rely on there althetism to get them time. That goes in the years but basketball IQ, shooting ability and willing to play good defense is what keeps you in the NBA.

I am extremely excited to see how this guy develops. He's got all the tools to become an all star player. I think were gonna see a lot of clark jerseys in a few years around staples.

you do know he only makes 1.2 mill right. Probably gonna have to give him at least 4 a year if not more.

You can always give him a Kobe-styled contract for next season. 1 year $30,453,000. =D

Keep him next season & then see what's up when (gulp) Kobe steps away.
