"Love me or hate me it's one or the other. Always has been. Hate my game, hate my swagger, hate my fade-away, my hunger, hate that i'm a veteran, A champion, hate that. Hate it with all your heart, and hate that i'm loved for the exact same reasons."

your body is larger and heavier, which make the consequences of falling much worse, which your body subconsciously considers for you, and your mind has a more developed respect of fear, death, and injury...makes it hard...even things like learning swimming are way harder when you're older

lmao...true...
yea, skateboarding is not easy by any means, once you get past the really basic stuff...only people that are allowed to say they're not impressed are those who can do most everything he did in the vid...moving forward is one thing, but trick skating street or vert isn't something most people can just pick up and be good at quickly and easily...i bet if i explained the mechanics of an ollie to most people on the board who didn't skate, by the end of 1 full day they wouldn't be able to do it passably on concrete while moving, hell, without moving...and thats the most basic off the ground trick...
i had fun skating the year i did it, my roomate freshmen year @ UCSB was a pretty good skater, and it was cheaper than a bike, didn't have to follow bike paths to get to class, and less likely to get stolen because it went in class with you...if you went to UCSB, you know what i mean, quite possiblly the bike theft capital of the US. so i picked one up, and started learning from him...still have my skateboard

I know nothing about skate boarding but he looks ok to me. Hes doing his thing and seems to be having fun. whats the big deal. hes worth a few mill from his music and now he wants to use some of it and enjoy a hobby. At least he picked a hobby that wont drive him into future bankruptcy like most rap stars. Many people dont know this but Snoop lost millions of dollars in F1 racing with Carmelo Anthony. A much more expensive habit. All Wayne will do is break an occasional bone or something. I'm sure dude has a blue cross plan. Good for him.
